The group of teens returned to the room where only Tsukishima and Yamaguchi remained. Resu flicked on the lights and the two first years stirred.
"What's going on?" Yamaguchi asked, blinking rapidly in surprise.
"We're having a slumber party," replied Kageyama gruffly.
"A slumber party?" Tsukishima repeated in a disbelieving tone.
"Yep."
Tsukishima stared at them for a moment before removing his glasses and turning on his side to face the wall.
"I think we should put all the futons in the middle of the room," Resu suggested with a thin, mischievous smirk. "It'd be easier if we all sat together."
Without a further word of warning, Resu dragged Tsukishima's futon with the boy still on it towards the center of the room with ease. He sat up abruptly and glowered at her but she only responded with a sickeningly sweet smile. Tsukishima huffed as the others placed their futons around him and sat down.
"So... What do we now?" Hinata asked in excitement, rocking back and forth.
Resu picked at the lint on her socks and gave the room a dry, expectant look. She didn't want to be part of this anyways - she wasn't going to suggest anything.
"I brought my laptop with me," Ennoshita said, "we can probably stream a movie on it."
"Ooooh, let's watch a horror movie!"
Inwardly Resu started quietly screaming. She loved horror novels and she could handle most horror anime. But horror movies? They scared the shit out of her.
"Can't we just watch a family movie?" Asahi requested hopefully. He didn't want to watch one as much as Resu didn't. Horror movies could be really scary.
"Stop being a baby Asahi."
Ennoshita grabbed his laptop but regretfully informed them that it had died, and he forgot his charger. Resu and Asahi silently thanked whoever was listening for the averted crisis.
"Let's play Truth or Dare then!" Tanaka suggested with a sly grin.
"Oh, no, no way in hell," Resu hissed, immediately shooting the idea down. "I don't trust any of you. At all."
"But Resuuuuuuuuuuuuu," Nishinoya whined, dragging out her name. "It'll be so fun!!"
After minutes of complaining back and forth, they finally got Resu to relent and play. They sat in a circle, Resu fuming, daring anyone to pick her in this stupid game.
"Alright, who wants to go first?"
"Me, me!" Hinata exclaimed, waving his hand. "Um... Kageyama! Truth or dare?"
He paused for a moment before answering bluntly. "Dare."
"I dare you to, uh... Stand on your hands for two minutes!"
...Hinata, that's so lame...
Kageyama scoffed at his dare and did as he was told with Tanaka timing him. At about one minute and twenty seconds in, Resu noticed his arms shaking a bit. Ten seconds later and he was down for the count. He glared at Hinata as if it was his fault he fell.
"Tsukishima... Truth or dare?"
"Truth," he answered dryly.
Kageyama smirked in an evil fashion. "What's your most embarrassing secret?"
"I liked dinosaurs as a child. There, are you happy?"
"That's not embarrassing enough!"
"Whatever." Tsukishima rolled his eyes before settling them on Resu. "Truth or dare, Resu?"
