It was a well-known fact that Resu was easily annoyed. Many things annoyed her - Oikawa, Tsukishima, her siblings, most people in general, and when the new figurine she wanted was out of stock. But no, no, this topped all of that. This was certainly the bane of her existence, the one thing that irritated her down to her very soul.

It was Dateko's cheering.

She felt that "Go! Go! Let's go, Dateko!" was going to be permanently imprinted on her skull, to be quite honest. Resu shifted uncomfortably in her seat with a sigh before standing and leaning on the banister.

The game started out with the boys mostly getting blocked, but that was before Kageyama and Hinata performed their signature "freak" quick. There was a moment of silence before the crowd roared, thoroughly impressed. They yelled even louder when Kageyama managed to set the ball from the back of the court directly to Hinata. Resu watched almost smugly, her arms crossed loosely over her chest.

She could tell that Dateko and even the crowd was so absorbed with Hinata, they were barely paying attention to the rest of the team. A smirk grew on her face. Although Hinata was remarkable, they would soon realize his talents as a decoy as well.

Resu was joined by the girl's team and some of the neighborhood association team who were also enraptured by the strange quick. Shortly after, however, Hinata got blocked but they were still leading by a few points. She frowned slightly. Were the others going to get a chance at the spotlight?

Her question was answered as the team performed a back attack, with Asahi delivering a perfect spike. Her hands gripped the railing as she cheered as loud as she could along with the others, trying especially hard to increase her volume as Dateko's cheering had got on her nerves so much.

I can't believe I'm getting emotional, she thought to herself, sniffing indignantly. Resu was so pleased to see her friend score as the previous match against Dateko had left him so dejected. Her eyes began to water slightly.

They won the first set and moved onto the next. The scores remained relatively close to each other again, neither side giving any slack. Finally it came to Karasuno's match point and the air was thick with tension. Resu's body grew tense as Asahi and Dateko's number seven faced off in a joust, the second year letting out a snarl as the ball fell behind her friend. She was about to yell in frustration as there was no way Nishinoya could reach the ball but he then stuck his foot out, effectively keeping the ball off the ground.

Her heart beating a mile per minute, she yelled her encouragement to the ace. It would be such a confidence boost to him if he scored the winning point against Dateko. Her heart then nearly stopped as the ball hit the net, her mind blank as it decided what side to fall on. As it fell on the opposing team's side, Resu held her breath, watching it descend. She exhaled shakily as they didn't manage to catch it in time.

She was now nearly howling with delight, jumping up and down like a child with the girl's team. Abruptly, Resu stopped, coughing and straightening out her shirt in embarrassment. The tall girl did clap along with the others though, grinning and waving down at the team.

Resu hadn't felt this happy in a while. It was...nice.

"What do you mean you're moving?"

Resu sighed, leaning against the wall. Her legs hung off the edge of her bed, swinging back and forth. Oikawa sat on her floor, his wide eyes fixated on her, while Iwaizumi sat at her desk. She rolled her head to the side to look at him, an annoyed expression masking her features.

"Do I need to explain the process to you?" She asked dryly. Oikawa clicked his tongue in response, crossing his arms and glaring out the window.
