NICO - Well Now

A/N - I have wanted to change POV for a little while so I am doing Nico's. Enjoy :)

I watched her. It's creepy I know. I remember how I felt when she left. It made me realise something. I like her. I watched her. The way she worked now, it was amazing. I never knew I would meet someone so powerful. I laughed as Jason was taken up in a tornado and thrown across the training ground. My smile faltered when I remembered her kicking my butt. Man, it hurt. She's more powerful than she looks. I overheard Jason earlier saying that he told her to imagine what she wanted and to feel it. He said it was a joke. But she did it. He was never able to. I have a feeling he's a bit jealous. She finished battling her brother and I clapped.

"Well done hottie" I told her. I knew her name was Alyssa but I enjoyed watching her face go bright red when I call her that. I don't know why it does but it seems I'm the only one who notices.

"You want a butt kicking too?" she asked with a challenging tone. I smiled.

"No thank you"

"Good, 'cause I'm not in the mood to give you one" she answered. She always had to have the last word. Unfortunately, so do I.

"In that case-" I joked. I laughed when she turned back. A smile crossed her face and my eyes widened.

"I was hoping you'd say that" she muttered. I smirked. I felt the wind underneath me and all of a sudden I was in the air. I shadow-jumped (it's really called shadow-travelling but jumping sounds better) and landed in front of her. I stroked her cheeks and smirked, again.

"Come get me". I shadow-jumped to the edge of the woods and laughed as she followed. I frowned when she disappeared. I felt a tap at my shoulder. I turned around and had my blade at her neck.

"Calm-down-Nico" she breathed. I raised my eyebrows at her.

"Never sneak up on me" I said. I pulled the blade down and watched as she just disappeared. How does she do that?! I felt another tap on my shoulder and whirled around, I pushed her against another tree and had my blade, once again, at her throat. She smiled.

"Don't you get it Nico?" she asked. I shook my head confused. "I never learn" she added before disappearing again. I put my blade in its sheath and smiled. She's good. I felt a tap on my shoulder but before I could react, my blade was at my neck and I was up against a tree. I saw her smiled. Her long hair was in her face. I lifted my hand and brushed it away for her. I felt her shiver. She slapped my hand away.

"Don't do that" she said.

"Why?" I asked.

"I'll do something I'll regret"

"What would that be?" I encouraged her.

"Nothing, never mind"

I smelt blood. I lifted her hand and saw it was bleeding. I watched her gaze. It went to the beauty that surrounded us. I chuckled.

"It's beautiful isn't it" she said. My mouth beat my mind.

"Yeah, you are"

"What?!" she asked.

"I said 'yeah, it is'". Good save Nico. I took my chance and pushed her off. She fell to the floor. I heard her cry out.

"Are you ok?" I asked her. I moved so I was just above her.

"You know what Thalia taught me?" she asked. I shook my head. "Use my age to my advantage". I processed that a little too late. She grabbed my hand and now I was on the floor whilst she had me pinned there. She smirked.

"Too easy" she said. I returned her smirk.

"You know what I was taught?" I asked her. She shook her head. "Take your opponent by surprise". As I said that I leaned forward and kissed her. I pulled away and she looked dazed. I laughed.

"Surprise, right" she managed. I laughed. "No, no, no. I'm not finished surprising you" I said. She smiled.

"Neither am I". And she turned around and kissed me. I kissed her back, not realising this was a part of her plan. At least, not until she had summoned two dagger-bolts and pinned me to the tree.

"Bye Nico" she waved. I chuckled.

"We will have to continue this conversation another time" I replied.

"You wish"

"Do I?” She walked off arguing with herself while I was attached to a tree. Best first kiss ever.
