After my tantrum in front of everyone I ran back to my cabin. I couldn't risk embarrassing myself again. Argh, I groaned. According to Emily (the name I now called the voice) it is my prophecy that Rachel recited. Surprised I didn't run? I've finally figured that running only means they will come back for me. I pretended to be asleep when I heard knocking at the door.
Answer it.
No.
Why not?
Because I'm asleep.
No you're not. I groaned again. But my mouth moved against my will.
"What?" I clamped my hand over my mouth.
What the hell is wrong with you?
It was your boyfriend you should answer.
He's not my boyfriend! And now he knows I'm awake.
And I care..?
"Coming". Before I could move to the door, Nico shadow-jumped inside.
"What the actual hell?" I yelled at him.
"W-what did you say?" he stammered. His eyes were wide and looked to be on the verge of tears. Did I do that?
"Um, I said 'what', duh" I stated. He shook his head.
"That wasn't you"
"Then who was it?" I joked. He shook his head again.
"Never mind" he smiled. I did too.
"So, you have your own prophecy"
I groaned. "Don't remind me". He laughed.
"Need help translating it?"
"I think Emily can help me with that" I said. I stopped and glared at him after I said it.
"Who's Emily?" he asked.
"Uh- a friend I made here". Quick save Alyssa.
Very quick indeed.
Shut up.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, just surprised". Ha, that's an understatement.
"Well, get some sleep. Everyone who was at the campfire tonight are holding a meeting tomorrow and you have to be there" I noticed he said that I had to be there, like it wasn't a choice.
It's not.
I'm ignoring you.
Can't ignore me Alyssa, I'm in your mind.
I can try.
"Ok, so while to talk to yourself, I'm going to leave" he joked. If only he knew what I was actually doing.
"Ok bye" I ushered him out.
"You know what's ironic?" he asked.
"No"
"We were told to find you because of a prophecy"
"Um, should I be concerned?"
"No, I'm glad we found you" his cheeks went a shade of pink. I felt my cheeks heat up as well.
"Me too" I muttered before closing the door. I flopped onto my bed and smiled at myself. A prophecy, great.
💕💕💕
I woke up as the sun was rising. I walked out to the beach and watched it.
"Beautiful isn't it" said a voice from behind me. I was greeted with the sight of Thalia. I smiled.
