Michael's POV
"-and then she just... said it. She's my girlfriend now." I could not stop grinning as I told the boys about Eleanor and I's date last night. Everything about her is just... wauw.
Okay, well, tecnically, I was telling Ashton about it. Calum was doing something on his phone, Luke flipping through magazines like crazy. Sometimes he did weird stuff, but that had mostly been lately to get his mind off Maddie. I think Calum and Ashton were pretty tired of Luke and I's constant babbling; me about Eleanor and Luke about Maddie. I cannot explain how it is to finally be with Eleanor. I can't believe she actually gave me a chance. The worst thing about it, is that I had already fallen hard, but I was still falling deeper and deeper, I was coming to the conclusion that I actually loved her, and that scared me. I knew that she wasn't ready for that kind of stuff. And me, being the love-fool I am, I'm probably going to let it slip through my lips without thinking, making her freak out about it.
"Holy..." Luke speaks as he stops at a page, me sighing as we all look at him. "Michael, I can see why you like Eleanor now," he speaks, lying the magazine down on the table in front of me. At first I saw that it was a woman's magazine Luke was looking through, then my eyes slightly widening at what was on the page. Now I knew I should've seen it coming, but it still came as a shock for me as I saw Eleanor on the page in only Victoria's Secret underwear.
"Holy shit," I then heard a voice say behind me, and I realize that all three of the guys are standing behind me, starring at the picture of Eleanor.
"Guys!" I snap, quickly closing the magazine. I knew I was going to try and not look at all of these pictures of her, that would just seem creepy.
"Hey, we're guys, can't blame us," Luke defends, taking his hands up. I sigh, I knew it. It's weird, I've never been so jealous and protective as I am with Eleanor. But I've never been with a girl who I've been so crazy about and so out of my league.
"I know," I mumble, groaning to myself. I then see my phone buzz on the table by the sofa, and I could see from here it was Eleanor's picture.
"Mike, E-" Calum started, but before he could end it, I was already over there, jumping over the couch. I almost fell, but I got the phone in my hand anyways.
"Hey," I said casually like I just took the phone up from my pocket, not even seeing who it was. It was like this every time she called.
"Hey Mikey," I heard Eleanor singsong, making something in my stomach tickle. "Uhmm, do you want to come over?" I smile. I had been driving her home after our date just last night, and she was the one to call me.
"Sure," I speak, her probably being able to hear the smile on my face. I feel like a fangirl, wanting to jump around and scream. "Uhmmm, now?"
"Yeah, and uhh... shit, I hate admitting this. Uhmm, there's a thunderstorm coming up tonight, and it's quite a beautiful view from here, but I can sometimes get a bit scared of it when I'm alone." I look back at the guys, going in next door, because I knew that if the guys heard what I was about to say, I would get lots of comments about that one.
"So you're asking me to spend the night?" I could not hide the smirk on my face, and it got bigger when I heard Eleanor embarrassingly giggle through the phone.
"Yeah... I guess. I mean, Maddie is still in Boston, and Darren is with Chris somewhere... so that leaves you."
"I'm your third choice?" I ask, pretending to be heard. I was sure she could hear that I wasn't that serious in my voice, but still, I was curious.
"Well, it's easier to have a sleepover with your friends than your boyfriend, if it's just a sleepover." I could hear her voice slightly dropping, fading at the end, and I knew what she was thinking. She was afraid that I would think of it as an invitation to come over and spend the night, as in having sex.
