"Shut up Niall!"

"But it was so funny!"

My laughter starts again from silent huffs and turns into a loud cackle, making Shannon join in.

"You're still an annoying shit." She mumbles.

"Yeah, but I'm your annoying shit."

We often say that to each other, I don't know why but it just makes us smile, we're strange people. It's like 'our thing' I guess.

We're at my house, in my music room. I know Shannon has a music room but I've never entered because I know how personal your very own music room can be.

Yet here I am sitting on a beanbag, laughing with Shannon as a guitar is propped on my thighs.

We've hung out so much over the past two weeks, it's been almost a month since we met.

I tried showing Shannon how to play drums but she ended up just throwing the drumsticks behind her. I still find this entertaining even though the scene happened over an hour ago, "What do you feel like doing now?"

"How 'bout a coffee?" I suggest.

"Sure thing, chicken wing."

She offers her hand to help me up, I gladly accept. Of course she doesn't let go and just entwines her fingers with mine like we usually do. Just a friendly gesture.

We had one run in with some paps, a picture of us together laughing and holding hands. Shannon didn't mind, she just let it slide.

"So do you want to go to our coffee place?"

I smile at her use of 'our' coffee place. "Yeah."

We start walking towards the coffee shop, where we had our first real conversation, where we started getting to know each other.

Once we've arrived we take our jackets off, take a seat and both order a drink. Shannon rubs her hands together trying to warm them up but it doesn't seem to be working, "Are your hands cold?" I ask.

She nods her head, "Here." I gently take her hands and put them in between mine, rubbing them together.

I blow warm air onto her hands as they stay between mine, they're no longer cold.

I take each hand in my own and rub smoothing circles with my thumb, "Thanks Ni."

"That's what I'm here for." I smile at her.

I look up at the counter, Maree isn't there. I haven't seen much of her lately. Maybe she doesn't work today, although I swear she works on Saturdays.

"Do you want me to order for us?" Shannon asks.

"That would be great." I reply, she smiles at me before getting up.

Once she leaves I rub my hands together and start thinking.

I really want to ask Shannon to come to the fair with me, there would be lots of fans of course but Modest says the boys and I are allowed to hire security guards whenever.

They actually recommend the idea.

A lot.

I just need to figure out a way of asking her, I need to boost my confidence as well. Her curvy figure walks towards the table again and I pretend to be interested in my fingers, "I ordered you a tea with three sugars and strong."
