CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

"You cannot be serious, Nathan!"

"Yet I totally am, angel..."

"This things take time, Nathan! I can't do this over night!"

"Everything is already set, angel," he whispers as he taps my nose playfully. "To be honest I thought you would catch that from your Dad saying that he needs to walk you down the aisle before leaving..."

"How could I possibly understand that?! Good God, you're driving me insane!"

"But in a good way..." he chuckles as he takes my mouth voraciously. "Now you need to have some rest, baby girl."

"He plants a million question in my head and then asks me to shut my eyes and sleep peacefully..." I grunt.

"Yeah, that's pretty much what I ask!"

"You're seriously testing my patience here... A slap is ready storm for you, if you continue like that, love."

"Honestly, that's probably going to turn me on!"

"Everything is a turn on for you! What are you? Fifteen?!"

He teased my lips with his, while tickling me until I burst out laughing. While I thought it would be impossible to sleep, he sang for me until my eyes shut involuntarily until the next morning that I was awoken by his tender lips.

"Good morning gorgeous," he whispered, placing a small kiss behind my ear.

"Good morning little psycho," I chuckled as I nestled comfortably between his arms.

"Ready?"

"Hm?"

"The wedding, baby girl. We only have a few hours ahead of us."

"Oh... that."

"Are you having cold feet?" He frowned as I shifted in his arms in order to face him.

"You didn't give me enough time to get cold feet, Nathan," I chuckled, pecking his lips. "Are you ready to spend your life with me, Mr. Gray?"

As his beautiful, golden flaked eyes set on mine, I could feel my walls crumbling down like a house of cards. I could feel my self completely surrendering to him, and not minding one bit. That's what falling in love is after all...

"I'd never spend it, angel. I'd be living it to the fullest. With your smart ass mouth... Your daring, vicious tongue that won't let me keep my sanity... Those two glimmering eyes that undress my soul every time they set on me. So... yeah, angel. I'm more than ready to live my life with you."

"You always gave me the impression that you do not fit into this world. Your words, your kind gestures," I whispered as I placed a soft kiss on his throat.

He pulled me closer to him, colliding our bodies together. Every curve of my body clicked with his in harmony, as if we were two puzzle pieces coming finally together to complete the picture.

His hand was pressing on the small of my back to bring me closer to him, while the other was holding my neck so he could kiss me hungrily, voraciously, as if he couldn't have enough of me, as if I was his oxygen.

"Is that a bad thing?" he muttered between my lips.

"When you don't fit in the world you live in," I paused, staring longingly into his eyes as I ran my fingers through his messy hair, "it's because you were born to create a new one. And there is nothing more beautiful than that."
