"why cant you be mine?" lisa asked as she looked into jennie's eyes, searching for answers.
jennie felt her tears approaching and hung her head low.
lisa smiled sadly. "you still love him, dont you?" she asked softly.
jennie looked at lisa with an apologetic eye. she nodded slowly as she waited for lisa's reaction.
with that response, lisa sighed. "then i am right." she showed her smile once again, seeming to try to hide her pain and sadness from the girl infront of her.
"im so sorry, lisa. i swear, i tried forgetting him because i wanted to give my all to you. because it's you who's here by my side and not him. but i can't." jennie started sobbing as she took a hold of lisa's hand.
lisa gave jennie's hand a gentle squeeze and chuckled.
jennie looked at her. "why are you laughing?" she wiped her tears as she watched lisa.
lisa shook her head. "it's fine jen. take your time to forget about him." lisa smiled at jennie. "take your time, so when you are finally mine, i can assure that your love is undivided. that you are all mine."
jennie's heart melted at those words lisa spoke. "h..how about you?" she sniffed and caressed lisa's cheek.
lisa held jennie's hand on her cheek and brought it to her lips, giving it a subtle peck. "i will always be right here,"
"i will wait for you."
