Pidge x Reader

You walked into Pidge's room. She was sat on the floor typing something. She looked very cute curled up on the messy floor typing away with earbuds blaring in her ears.

I smiled and tapped her leg with my foot. She ripped out her earbuds and shot up and hugged me. I smiled and hugged her back. She was so small.

I couldn't help my laugh. She looked up at me and glared. I laughed harder knowing she would be angry if I pointed out her height... but I had too.

"What's up, half pint? Meet any good ants lately?" I asked. She let me go and glared at me.

"Don't call me names just 'cause you're a freak of nature. What are you, seven foot?" She snapped.

I held my stomach laughing at her. She huffed and sat on her bed glaring at me. I knew she would be angry with me, but it was worth it.

"Damn, why are short people so angry?" I asked sitting next to her poking her face.

"Ugh." She threw her arms up and threw herself into my lap.

I chuckled and squeezed her tightly. She laughed and tried to get out of my grip.

She stopped and looked at me, "you know there are no ants in space. They are only on Earth, and even if they were on another planet it wouldn't be something that we would notice. We're more invested in the aliens rather than the bugs on the ground."

I thought about it for a second, she had a point. "Rebuttal!" I shout helping her sit up. "Aliens could have ants and they could come in different sizes. For all we know we could come across a planet with huge Ants that were neon green.

"I guess you could be right, but if they were they would be pretty easy to spot then."

"But if they are big, it wouldn't necessarily mean they'd be in danger. Imagine a giant ant coming at you. You would run.

"That depends though, would I be hungry enough to kill it?" She asked. I shrugged.

"Can ants eat meat?" I asked. "I don't really want to have you eaten by a giant spider."

"I mean... I don't know? I've never really researched ants. It's not something I have ever thought about." I nodded.

"We are weird."
