"You and Keith stay out in the hall and keep watch." Shiro said following Pidge into the control room.
"Fine. You better have my back this time." You hissed at Keith.
You two didn't get a long much. It was worse than what he had with Lance. You two actually couldn't stand each other. It annoyed you to no end.
"I'm going down this hall, away from you." He walked away down the hall and you sighed. You watched him leave until you heard footsteps. Keith heard them too.
You nodded to him as you turned around. Before you could you felt like you were being punched in the gut and had the wind knocked out of you. You dropped to the ground. You tried to sit up but Keith pushed you back down. When he took off your chest plate and pushed down you screamed.
The pain was excruciating and almost unbelievable. You were glad Keith saw you reach for your gun because you honestly wanted to shot him to stop the pain.
"Why isn't she answering? What's going on?" You heard your boyfriend Coran shout into the coms.
"She's been shot in the chest, I need help getting her back to the castle. Allura get a pod ready for her." Keith demanded. You weakly tried to push his hands off of you.
He gently smacked your hands away. Suddenly you were lifted off the ground, you saw Keith stand up and put his helmet on, blood smearing where he touched it.
There was more talking but it sounded muffled and was coming in and out. It was weird. You looked around and saw Shiro was talking to you but you couldn't place it.
You looked down and it clicked. You had been shot. You were instantly terrified. You didn't want to die. You didn't want to lose Coran. It seemed like the pain was getting worse "I love you." You whispered before you lost consciousness. Coran's crying got louder before it completely faded out.
-
You woke up falling forward. You fell right into someone's strong arms. You couldn't get out of their grip. You started to panic then realized it was Coran by the smell of him. You wiggles your arms out of his hold and squeezed him in a tight hug.
"We didn't think you'd survive the first week." He sobbed.
You tensed. You remembered the pain and the gunshot. "How long was I out?" You asked in a whisper.
"Almost a phoeb."
Almost a month? Was it that serious? Was he okay?
"I'm so sorry, sweetheart!" You cried out and let him cry into your hair.
"I love you."
"I love you."
Soon everyone wanted a hug and you promised to go to his room later that night.
~
You walked into his room after everyone one else headed to bed. You saw him sitting in bed with his knees pulled to his chest. He looked up at you and patted the space next to him.
You climb into his bed slipping your shoes off. You wrap your arm around him and he turned to snuggle up to you.
"I was scared I was going to loose you." He whispered.
"I was so scared to die." You blurt out.
He sat up and looked at you with wide panicked eyes. "What?"
"I was scared to die. I didn't want to lose you. I didn't want to die young." You whispered.
"I didn't even think about how you felt. I was so focused on losing you. I'm so selfish." He said.
"You're fine. I would have done the same." You whispered and laid down. You pulled him down to lay next to you. He rested his head on your chest and you held him close rubbing his back until he fell asleep while you stared at the ceiling.
