You didn't want to be in the castle of lions anymore. You didn't belong with them. You weren't a fighter. You enjoyed the political side of the war but you didn't do much in that area due to Allura being a princess.

You decided to go to Earth with your girlfriend's dad, Sam, instead. You needed to prepare your girlfriend's home planet for the war. You were half human but you could pass as one. Your father being a human from earth. You could know enough to exist among them.

It was last night together before you go to earth. You, Pidge, and her father talked about what the important things. What they should do to prepare for war.

Later that night at bed time you and Pidge shared a room and cuddled up for the night. You weren't ready to let go but you had to make the sacrifice. You had to make sure that her planet would be safe when she'd return.

That night you two held each other close. And slept peacefully through the night.

You stood next to her father waiting to leave. You were nervous to leave her. You didn't want to leave your love.

"I love you, Pidge. I will miss you dearly. I hope that you come to earth soon." You whispered.

She cried into your chest and you held her close rubbing her back. You two were practically inseparable since you two started dating. The only times you were apart was when she was in her lion. Now who knows how long you two would be apart.

You were also crying but you didn't want her to know. You squeezed her tight and kissed her again.

"Please don't go." She asked.

"I need to, Katie." She nodded and hugged you again.

"I love you."

"I love you, you are my world." You whisper in her ear.

She started crying harder. She let go and stepped back. "Be careful."

"I will. I'll see you soon, right?"

"As soon as we can."

She pulled you close one last time and kissed you. It was a little longer than what you two normally shared.

"Goodbye." She whispered and let the others say goodbye to you.

You looked to the others who looked really sad, Lance and Hunk were in tears you could see that Coran was about to cry.

"That was the saddest goodbye I've ever seen!" Hunk cried.

You smiled and gave them all hugs. Lance gave you a kiss on the cheek and told you to be safe. He had become like your big brother.

"I'm going to miss you so much."

"I'm going to miss you too. You've been like my older brother all of this time and I just want you to know that you will forever be my big brother."

"Se you later, little sister." he said with a watery smile.

You and Pidge's dad turned to leave.

"I love you!" She shouted behind you.

"I love you!" You telled back over your shoulder.

"Let's go to earth!" You say bouncing in your seat from excitement.
