Hunk x Reader

You sigh in relief when you hear that you're brother Lance is back on earth alive and well. That means your ex boyfriend Hunk would be there too. You wanted to go see everyone but at the same time you didn't. Your mom was getting everyone ready to go see lance but you didn't want to go at all.

You, Lance, and Hunk got into a fight a week before they left. That was the last time you talked to either of them.

"Come on, we need to leave now." Your mom yelled from the front door.

"Can I stay here? I'll see him eventually." You yell back. You could hear her walk in.

"I know you are worried, but it'll be fine." She whispered and wrapped her arms around your neck from behind you.

"If it goes bad... will you take me home?"

"Of course."

You patted her hands and waited for her to remove her arms. She kissed your cheek and left the room. You stood up and tried to control your breathing. It will probably be fine. You are a strong person. You don't need hunk anymore. You went to go get into the car.

You arrived and your family rushed out of the car. You didn't. Lance was waiting for you. He looked at his family then looked around. Hunk looked disappointed when he stared at your family too. You stepped out and saw them both looked relieved. Hunk started to walk towards you.

Uh oh. You were not as strong as you thought. You quickly turn around and search for Pidge. You didn't see her but you found Keith. You walked over. He smiled and pulled you into a hug.

"It's been a while, we're going to have a lot to catch up on." He said squeezing you tightly.

"I've missed you too." You whispered.

"Have you spoken to Hunk yet?" You shook you head and burried it in the crook of his neck. "Talk to him, he misses you so much. He was so excited to see you today."

"I thought I was strong enough to see him after our break up... but I'm not. I still love him." You admitted. He squeezed you before letting you go.

"Do you want me to come with you?" He asked. You bite your lip and nodded.

He took your hand and brought you over where hunk stood alone watching lance and your family. He looked over to you and glanced at your hands. Keith shook his head.

"Hunk, I'm just here for support." Keith said when he noticed the hurt on his face.

"Hi, hunk..." you gave a small smile. Your heart was racing a mile a minute.

"Hi," He whispered, "can we please talk alone?"

"I-"

"Please?" He interrupted me.

"You can do this." Keith whispered. He let go of my hand and walked away.

"I thought you were here for support?" You yelled at him.

"I will support you from over there." And jogged away.

You said and nervously glanced at hunk who stared down at you. It was the same broken look he had when you two broke up. It made your heart sting.

"Listen, I know than we broke up just before we left. We never had time to properly talk this out, but we can now." He said.

"I know, I keep replaying it over and over in my head the past couple of years." You admitted. "I thought I would be strong enough next time i saw you, but I am not. I still need you." You said. You looked to the ground wrapping you arms around yourself.

"I need you too. I love you."

You burst into tears and wiped your face. "I'm sorry. It's just... I've been alone this entire time. I had nobody while you were gone. It was so lonely." He stepped forward and pulled you tightly against him. You sobbed into his neck.

he picked you up like he use to and held you. He walked away to a quieter place. He rubbed your back. "Please take me back. I miss you." He admitted.

"I... okay. I miss you too." You cried and squeezed him tightly. You didn't think you would ever experience this again.

"I love you so much. We are going to be okay." Those were the words you had wanted to hear since that day.

You straightened up and pulled him into a kiss. He pulled you closer and you tightened your legs a little worried you'd fall. One hand was on his cheek the other in his hair. You pulled back and smiled at him.

"I promise we will make it this time." You whispered kissing him again.

You two had so much to catch up on, but it could wait for another day. You needed this first.
