My brows furrowed, the ends are almost touching in confusion and annoyance of what Jimin is doing with Jungkook, and really involving me to it.

Jungkook looked at him with a little dulled face, preventing himself to show a reaction that Jimin or Chaeyoung might dislike.

The silence was awkward as the two men just gazed at each other. One is examining one and the other one is disliking the behavior of the one.

I just met Jungkook...
And I am just considering Jimin for two reasons, he saved my life and because he's Chaeyoung's cousin.

I awkwardly giggled, trying to shove the tension between the two men. Chaeyoung seems so lost at this moment, her innocence is being evident like she's a naive child...

"You know, I'm pretty. You don't have to ask anyone about that."
      It was suppose to be a joke to shrug off everything but then...

The man's pride within the both of them weren't bothered at all...

"I should answer no, right?"
       I internally yelped by the time Jungkook responded, his head tilted and his eyes avoided Jimin's.

"It is a testing question since you're her older cousin, isn't it?"
       Jungkook made an eye contact with Jimin once again...

And his eyes screams nothing but pride, confidence and sarcasm.

"Ms. Lalisa is pretty, but that doesn't bother me. I prefer Chaeyoung's appearance than her, it's my personal perspective. You tested me to see how I would react, I may sound a bit rude but I'm just justifying myself to you since you're an older cousin of my girlfriend..."
      He took a breathe and continued...

"I may find any woman pretty, but just like what I said, I prefer Chaeyoung's image. Plus, I am not into looks, the first time I saw Chaeyoung, she looks like she caught ten missiles to save the country but I still found her interesting for my own. Also, a deep relationship doesn't look to those features, physical appearances or whatsoever. I've been with her for several months, her personality is what drags me more to her."
      He answered, and as Chaeyoung's best friend, I feel grateful for her...

But as myself, on this position of mine...
I feel so pressured as if I'm the subject they're pertaining about.

My eyes turned to Jimin as I heard him chuckle a little...

I felt scared but...

"Very well answered, Mr. Jeon."
       I felt a little ease as I heard his response.

"Yes, it's just a testing question. You know, those simple questions can make a person react onto something that has a deeper meaning. Anyway, I'm sorry for the lacking of warm welcome as I became a bit rude for testing you like that, I just want to protect my sister like cousin. I hope you didn't mind at all."
       They sound so formal already...

"I know, I get the point of it. Don't worry, I'll take care of her the way a man would."
        Jungkook answered with a smile, and Jimin gave the same reaction before nodding...

The smiles they have...
Those are genuine ones and satisfied ones.

"Very lucky...
You have two men taking care of you the way I haven't felt before..."
