It has been more than twenty-four hours and I'm still thinking of what she asked me a day ago...

"Why are you being that kind to me?"

I wasn't really able to answer her...
My eyes just stared at her the whole time, my mind was blocked and my lips didn't let out anything...

The surrounding got so silent, the only thing I can hear was the wind hitting the window from the outside and the vent's very low sound.

She kept her eyes one me for I don't know how long but it was long enough to make me feel shivers, but then...

"Being too kind is bad, it's what you told me. I'm not a good person, Mr. Park. Not anymore. Don't out yourself in a position you might regret of having, like how I had that position before."
      She spoke in a very hoarse voice before closing her eyes, ending the conversation there.

"The position she took before...
She's afraid to be alike of the person who hurt her while helping him. That man, he really did hit her tough."

My fingers played with the pen on my desk, my elbows rested and my eyes looked at the carpeted floor as I waited for anything to come.

I am currently at Chaeyoung's office, I was assigned to be her assistant ever since I was called to talk to the administration, CEO, particullarly, together with Lisa.

My cousin is now back at work and is doing her rounds, I am here to check her schedules and files of the patients but everything was done an hour ago already, now I am just waiting for the time to tell me that's over...

"Thirty minutes more..."
       I mumbled under my breathe and leaned my forehead down to my forearms which are lying already on the table.

I closed my eyes...
Heard nothing but silence...
Felt nothing but the cold breeze from the air conditioner.

It was so peaceful...
Only my memories are battering me.

"You're so kind."
        She was eating the ice cream I bought her.

I just took her to her home.
We went to the park as I asked her if she wants to go out for a time to bond.

"Why?"
      She questioned...

My head tilted to my side as she sat down beside me on the couch. The television is on, there's a movie playing but neither of us is paying attention.

"Why are you being so kind to me? You like me, don't you?"
       My eyes widen a little in surprise...

I don't know how to react on that...
I don't how to answer the question but then...

She began to laugh after seconds of staring in my eyes...
