It's today...
Our first anniversary...
Yet I'm just on my way to work...
Because she's fully occupied by hers.

Mine has no conflicts of schedules. I'm an aircraft engineer, I can always ask leaves and I can take absences anytime I want. I'm one of those respected bosses and I can manage my own schedule but hers...

She's a doctor...
One of the best, yet cannot control her time. If she's needed, she should be there, if there's someone who's hurt, she should take care of them, if there's someone who needs to be operated, she'll be called to go in.

I understand, she's busy...
But I can't help to feel lonely and empty while she's not beside me. I want her warm presence surrounds me, especially today. I want to take her out on a date, I want to let her eat the foods she wants, I want to see her smiling charmingly, I want her here...

But I can't meddle to her job, to her dream. Saving people and taking care of them are her dreams even before we met, it existed when she's still a child so I can't interfere with it plus, as a man, I should just understand.

I planned going there at least to see her...
But she won't let me knowing that I'll wait for her to be available when she actually can't take a proper break time for herself, not even to eat.

I feel worried...
But she keeps saying she'll be fine and will eat after everything.

"Sir."
      A staff approached me as I entered the facility. I raised my eyebrows as a response of 'what?' and stopped on my tracks to let him answer...

"Someone's waiting for you at the lounge."
      He answered and there's the sudden excitement building inside me.

A smile crept on my lips and I thanked the person sho informed me about my visitor. I have my hopes, I have the thought of her joking about her busyness when she actually will just surprise me yet as I ran and walked in to the lounge...

"Good morning."
       Two persons greeted me a well morning.

I bowed politely...
With my smile dropping on the tiled floor.
A man is with a woman, they are recognizable, the last time we met was that day Chaeyoung and her cousin who is the man, got drunk.

"Good morning."
        It sounds like a whisper but I know they heard me greeting back.

"Maybe you anticipated to see my cousin?"
        The man, Jimin, asked.

"No, not really. I know she's busy."
        I answered and let out a tiny smile.

"Is that why you're here? You're in behalf of my girlfriend?"
         I asked and both of them nodded.

"She wanted to see you in person, she's honestly disappointed with herself for being occupied at the wrong time. So we're here to tell you that she might be busy till the ed of the day, maybe there'll be extra time for her to be available before the weekend comes which is her day offs, but I suggest it'll be her rest days. If you would kindly considerate her, she wanted to celebrate your anniversary late."
       The smile stayed on my lips as I hears Lisa speaking for Chaeyoung's perspective...

"She could just send me a message about it or call me, I can understand. It's her job, I know the schedule conflicts."
       I answered and my eyes turned to Jimin as he nodded with satisfaction playing on his expression...
