The Iron Will : Sector 12 : Maine [01:14 hours]
"I know we've had Decepticon prisoners before, but nothing will get me used to the evil, creepy vibe they give off when they're offline. I meant how can they rest at night with all the terrible things they done?"
"I double checked, his lights aren't coming back on anytime soon." Replied Prowl as he sat calmly with his pistol strapped securely to his waist as he copiloted.
The Autobots were now aboard Ultra Magnus' ship, The Iron Will. They were well on their way back to base with vital cargo, a Cybertronian artifact and a Decepticon prisoner. Ultra Magnus and Prowl were operating the Iron Will, Arcee helped to tend to Ironhide's wounds, while Bulkhead was watching closely at the unconscious Decepticon they had chained to the wall.
"Speaking of Shockwave, he doesn't look to be in good condition. We better patch him up back at base if we want to get answers out of him while he's with us." Acree said while observing the Decepticon.
"That's heapbrained! If we get him back in shape, he'll be harder to keep under chain." Ironhide argued.
"I'm not saying that we fully fix him, I'm just suggesting that it's a good idea not to let our valuable prisoner bleed to death and let his own inside information go out with him." The femme snapped back at the bigger red bot.
Prowl cut in, "And we better make sure to keep a tight hold on him. Based on the amount of encounters you've had with Starscream, who knows what Shockwave will tell the Deceptions when he's loose. Of course the decision to keep him prisoner is still up in the air."
"I have an upsetting suspicion that Shockwave will detail to Megatron our new weapon. For our benefit, it's best that we keep the upper hand on him for as long as we can." Ultra Magnus said while a familiar scowl appeared on his face.
The Nemesis -Location: Classified - Time: Unknown-
The corridors of the Nemesis held their eerie silence as per usual. Drone soldiers patrolled their usual schedules. Everything was going smoothly.
"WHAT?!" Megatron's thunderous voice roared down the halls and interrupted the eerie silence. The soldiers stopped in their tracks out of fear of their leader's rage. Everything was not going smoothly now.
In the main bridge, Knockout, Starscream, and Megatron gazed upon the recording of the battle on the beach that transpired only thirty minutes ago. Soundwave put it up on the main display, stressing the importance of the video.
"Just as soon as we get him back, we happened to lose Shockwave once again." Knockout groaned.
Starscream growled under his breath, "Good riddance."
"I'm afraid Shockwave is not a priority in our concerns." said Megatron.
"Please, my Lord, I don't catch what could be more important than retrieving our head scientist and lieutenant." Knockout inquired.
"That." The screen was paused as Megatron pointed a clawed digit. The screen had a wide view of the battle, Shockwave had just been pinned down by two autobots. Suddenly, a burning white light captured the video view. By the time the video had adjusted to the light, Shockwave was seen wounded in the sand, smoke and energon pooling out of him.
The video was played again. Paused and rewinded slowly back from the moment of the flash. A single frame was paused. It was right before the blinding light. In the corner of the recording, the blue framed autobot, Ultra Magnus, was bearing a large, long cannon on his shoulder. It's muzzle aimed at the deception scientist and the muzzle glowing a faint white.
"That weapon that the autobot lieutenant is possessing is the Requiem Blaster, a mythical and powerful weapon created by Megatronus Prime a millennia ago."
Starscream's scowl turned into a grin. But it disappeared as soon as he realized, "That weapon must have killed Shockwave! No cybertronian has ever survived its power! And now it is in Autobot custody?!"
A grim and upsetting murmur echoed through the bridge. The heavy silence swallowed the deceptions in the room. The pressure grew great and there was a indistinguishable notion.
Megatron let out a disgruntled growl, "Our plans of a new army of beasts, will now never be realized and the future of the deceptions is no longer foreseeable."
The Iron Will : Sector 12 : Maine [01:29 hours]
A high pitched tone rung in his audio receptors. A heavy weight was crushing the inside of his helm. The heaviness made his feeling in his nervous system sluggish. His sight was spotty, dark, and very difficult to comprehend. Searing hot pain suddenly vertebrated through his body. He couldn't even let out a groan from the pain that was so devastating. His neural net putting so much effort to block out the pain with adrenaline.
Slowly, the heaviness lifted from his eye and the spots in his vision dissolved. However, he could not comprehend his surroundings. Not until he heard the voices.
"I don't get it, why don't we just bridge back to the base?" Said a low voice.
"Although he wouldn't like to admit it, Ultra Magnus does like to take the Iron Will for a spin..." Said another unidentifiable one.
But the name he did identify. He cautiously turned his head to where the voices were. Autobots. Luckily, they all had their backs turned except for one red one resting with his optics closed on a berth beside them. They were all looking to the view of the sky ahead of them.
Must escape. Only logical solution... Shockwave thought groggily. If he was to wait until he reached the base to escape, he could be facing the entire Autobot ranks alone and their human military assets, all while being greatly wounded. Energon slowly leaked out of his side, luckily some of his wound was cauterized by the blast.
The blast. What was that weapon I saw before my offline?
He had no time to calculate though and stopped himself. He saw to how he was detained. They had his servos each chained in cuffs. Despite that, the Autobots made a mistake in where he was cuffed. Two easily detachable pipe lines that looked significant to the ship.
There was no possible outcome he could overpower the Autobots and take the ship for his own, so an escape off the ship would be the own desperate, logical solution. It didn't look as though they were very high, he could survive the fall as he has survived great heights in the past and walked away just fine.
He began to search for a panel, button, or a switch that he could quickly access after freeing himself after breaking free to open the main landing struts and hangar door.
There, a panel and a button conveniently a dash away from him.
Now to only put that adrenaline to use.
