Shadow's Change

Chapter 5

Shadow POV

I'm slowly waking up...And I feel strangely warm... I slowly open my eyes to find blue fur next to me... No... It... It didn't happen... Right?.. I need to get out of here...

I slowly make my way off of the bed, Sonic was in a deep sleep, he didn't even feel me leave... He will remember nothing anyway...

My head hurt a bit but I can just go back to Rouge's house to sleep more. I put back my gloves and socks and grab my shoes. I take my Chaos Emerald and Chaos Control out. ''Chaos Control...''

I appear in Rouge's guest room. It sounds like she is still sleeping. I put my shoes down next to the bed, flop on the bed and quickly fall asleep...

Later I wake up again, I still feel tired... But I have to get up. I go to the living room and I see Rouge already there with a cup of coffee. ''Hello hun, How was the party for you?'' She smiles at me, I look away... I can't tell her what's happened... ''It was... Fine...'' She looks at me confused. ''Shadow you're alright?.. You seem... Off...'' I sit on the couch. ''I'm just tired Rouge... Don't worry about me...'' She sighs a bit. ''If you say so... You want some coffee? I can make a cup for you.'' I nearly felt sick when she said coffee... What's wrong with me?!... ''N-No... Thanks Rouge but I don't feel like it today...'' ''Oh okay then... If you're tired you can take a nap on the couch, okay? I'm going to the store.'' I sighs and lie down on the couch, I don't feel like arguing with her right now...''Fine...''

Rouge POV

I see him lie down and I go out to the store. He is hiding something but I never saw him like that before, he seems sick but he can't be, right?.. I'll try to ask him gently, I want to help him even if he says that he don't need it...

Sonic POV

I wake up with a tired groan... I feel so bad... I feel my brain pounding in my skull... Why I drank so much... I can't remember anything... I slowly get up and I see my gloves and socks on the floor. I put them back on but I hiss, holding my head. I need to take some painkillers... I go to the bathroom to take some painkillers and I drink them with some water.

I still feel bad but I'll try to take a breakfast... even if it's past noon already...

''Hey Sonic, you're fine?'' I hear Tails talking to me from the living room. ''I'm fine little bro... Just a headache... It will pass...'' I see Tails smile a bit, he seems a bit worried for me. ''So... You had fun at the party?..'' I ask him while I made my way to the kitchen, maybe if I eat something I will feel better... ''Yeah it was fun, I played with everyone, but where were you at the end? I didn't see you after the game time.'' I start to eat slowly, It makes me feel a bit better already. ''I have to admit that I don't really remember... I remember the games... and that I talked to Shadow a bit... but after that nothing... I shouldn't have drunk this much...'' I rub the back of my neck, embarrassed. ''Well... at least you didn't do something bad.'' I feel strange when he said that but I hide it. ''Yeah, you're right...'' He looks at me hopefully. '' You can help me with one of my invention?'' I laugh at his cuteness, like he is thinking that I'll say no to him. ''Yeah, of course bro.''

I feel like I have done something bad though... I want to remember... I can't have hurt someone... Right?..
