Anamika's POV

I and Anwar went out to our favorite restaurant.

It was around 7 in the night and surprisingly there was no one at the hotel. It was completely empty.

As I moved through the door I thought I heard laughter, not quite happy though, more sniggering and triumphant. I hadn't slept well the night before for worrying about what I would do with Our new relationship that had been passed down to me as a gift.

He kept talking about his work and how he couldn't take his time off for poetry or me.

"So tell me Anu what's the weirdest thing that happened to you ever?" He asked

"You!" I replied as he choked on his food.

"Here have some water" I said handing him over a glass of water.

"So that means you love me since really very long?" He asked as I looked away.

"Hmmm" I said looking in the other direction to avoid the embarrassment.

"Then why didn't you tell me before?" He asked surprised.

"You never asked" I replied nonchalantly.

"You sound so stup-" he said as he stopped himself at the last word.

"So stupid?" I questioned

"Stupendous" he remarked taking a sip of the costliest red wine I'd ever heard of.

"Okay then..." I said as he heaved a sigh of relief.

We walked back to his office which was quite close by.

It was surprising that I had never noticed that there was a restricted section despite the fact that I've been visiting this place for almost an year now.

"Wait here I'll just be back." He said as he went into the office and my mind forced me to look into what actually was in the restricted section.

I walked in and there was an old and rusty door.

Once over the threshold the door slammed shut. I turned to look at it, there was no wind. Then the lock clicked, the grime covered mullioned windows became solid wall and with their disappearance I was unable to see even my own feet. Before I was able to scream I felt my mouth seal shut. Eyes appeared in the blackness with no form and then the apparition of a beautiful woman appeared around them, first faint and then almost as solid as a flesh and blood person. She was glowing, smiling, rubbing her hands together and then she grabbed my neck and was about to kill me

I knew I was about to faint when my stomach gave out. It felt like my innards were being replaced by some kind of black hole. Then nausea crept from my abdomen to my head and the world went black.

When I woke up I was on a bed and there was a weird feeling.

I noticed I was actually in Anwar's room

"Hey you woke up?" Anwar said entering the room

"What happened to me?" I asked worried

"You fainted. I found you in the restricted section. Anu why did you even go there?" He asked

"Curiosity killed the cat" I said cheekily.

"You could have killed your ownself" he said angrily.

"I'm sorry Anwar" I said as I was guilty for being an idiot.

"And now anu answer me this. Your wrist you had bandaged it until yesterday. When I asked you, you didn't bother to answer me and now when I looked at it I realized it's a tattoo" he said

Me and tattoo's??? What a weird combination! I thought as I looked up at it.

Wolves are loyal to their kin, the alpha's mating for life. But I've never been so fascinated about them. So the tattoo on my wrist made no sense to me at all.

"I don't know what's happening Anwar. Maybe I'm taking too much of stress. I'm forgetting a lot of things and also having a lot of hallucinations" I said sighing.

"Just take care. Let me drop you home you must be tired." He insisted.

"As you say" I said nodding.

But there were a lot of things troubling me right now!

Who was that woman I saw?

Why did the maid lie when I was at home?

Where did the tattoo come from?

How could I sleep for 2 days straight?

With all these thoughts I reached my home only to fall asleep again without my knowledge

All thanks to the sedatives!

Veer's POV

We just won a match against South Africa. All thanks to the partnership between me and Mahi bhai.

I just scored a fifty. I know it was not a great innings but I had a great time being on the ground and being back on the team

Since the tour was in India and this match happened at our home ground, We were allowed to stay in our own places instead of the hotel.

Honestly I had to meet Samara. I wanted to tell her that I was thankful that she made me feel better than what I was feeling from the past few days.

I immediately look at the watch and the time was eleven o clock. That's half an hour ago when the warden sleeps.

I dialled her number.

The number you're trying to reach is currently switched off. Please try again later.

I sighed and cursed myself under my breath.

She's an RJ right? Maybe she's doing some show. I switched on the radio to find some male RJ blabbering some stuff

I threw away my phone in frustration.

I then noticed a glow worm in my room. Suddenly there was another. They created an aura of peace around me. I began following them when I found a girl in my garden.

Paas aayie ke hum nahin aayenge baar baar

(Come closer to me, as I will not be able to come to you every time.)

Something in her voice kept pulling me close towards her. I don't know if it was the melody or the mystery

Baahein gale mein daal ke hum ro le zaar zaar.

Put your arms around me  and let us cry our hearts out.)

The gate had to be closed so what can someone do here at this point of the night.

Aankon se phir yeh pyaar ki barsaath ho na ho.
Shayad phir iss janam me mulaaqat ho na ho...

(Who knows, if our eyes will ever see these tears of love again.Maybe, in this life, we may or may not meet again)

"Excuse me?" I said as she paused and looked at me as I kept staring at her in shock.

What the hell is this woman doing here ????
