Anamika's POV

The front of the modern house has as much personality as a blank page. It was clean and geometric, that's all one could really say. Beyond that it was just a box to put people in.

“She’s got some humor to her, doesn’t she.” Anwar gave her a tender smile, that only when Preethi returned one back made me suddenly very. . . protective.

She soon moved forward and caught up with Arjun.

“Uh, yeah. So funny. Too bad you didn't meet her earlier.” I winced.

"I've known her for longer than I've known you" he said as I felt bad. A little bit.

"So it's her after me?" I asked

"Maybe" he said shrugging.

My immediate gaze fell on Preethi who thought herself something of an artist. There was skill she thought to the perfect "break and enter". Her method took time but but the rewards were high. She cased the house carefully for a minute or two in great speed.

She definitely wanted to please everyone and somehow she was successful.

We then strolled in and noticed there was no one in the house.

"The last time I checked they had security" Preethi said.

"I was here too Arora" we heard a voice.

"Paridhi Shekhawat such an honour to meet you" she said sarcasm dripping in her voice.

"Hi Veer" she said as she hugged him.

"Arjun? I thought you'd kill her. Sad that your masculinity didn't let you do it. Did you guys at least make out?" She asked when I noticed Anwar clenching his fists.

"Not everyone is like you Pari" Arjun said disgusted.

"Well can't help. There's only one queen" she said as she noticed me.

"Hi Anu! How're things between you and Veer? Thanks for leaving Anwar" she said.

"Yeah thanks Anu" Anwar said as all of us looked at him in surprise.

"I at least realized whom I love the most" he said.

"Oh baby you're here too. Come in" she said pulling him in.

"Whom do you love the most?" She asked turning back.

He first looked at Preethi.

"It's you" he said as he looked at me then Paridhi.

How many girls does he love?

"Aww you're the best Anwar. Now do Me a favour. Kill all of them" she said handing him over a revolver.

"Anwar shut the fuck up don't even think of-"

Veer  barged right in when someone caught him by his throat from behind.

"Hi traitor" a man said choking Veer from behind.

Anwar instinctively pushed Preethi behind Arjun.

Whose side was he on?

"Veer" I said moving forward when Paridhi stopped me.

"Don't you want to listen to the whole story Anu?" She said looking at me.

"Randy Don't kill Veer. He needs to know too" she said as Randhir let go of Veer who immediately caught hold of Arjun.

"You know what Anu, Dr Bose who was like your father figure almost cured you of split personality disorder. But after I got to know that Anwar is in love with you. I with the help of Abhimanyu began giving you drugs in your food and water which would trigger the split personality disorder in you. With his help I got to know about Samara and tried using her to get into someone's life" she said.

Tears formed in my eyes. I trusted Abhimanyu so much. He deserved that death. Probably worse than that.

"I wanted your alter ego to fall in love and with the help of subliminal hypnosis I tried Tricking Samara into falling in love with Veer. So that you could cheat on Anwar and I could make him mine forever " she said.

"Unfortunately Randhir wanted to threaten Veer so he attacked you. I hit you with a rod hoping you would die. But you survived. Not only that it brought back your memories too." She said.

"Veer had to meet you again for Anwar to hate you. So I moved in, created differences between you and him only so that you find peace in Veer. And for you both to meet each other I sent your number to Randhir who forwarded it to Veer" she said finally sitting down.

"Everyone knows what Happened after this" she said sipping coffee.

"Anwar you love coffee right? Let me bring you a cup of it" she said walking inside.

"See Veer, I don't have a problem with it" I heard Arjun mumble.

"You'll manage na Pree?" He asked in a low tone.

"I should and I will" she replied.

I honestly didn't know what was going on.

"I love you" Veer mouthed to me as I nodded.

Arjun and Veer both silently tiptoed out of the room as Randhir was busy on his phone.

After Paridhi came back with a cup of coffee, Anwar sat down on the couch.

"My sources say it's you and your team who proved Arjun and Veer  innocent. And now because of that Veer is back into the team" she said chuckling.

"Is that a problem?" Preethi asked.

"No but you are being one, you better know when to shut up or else!..." Paridhi warned.

"Pari wait... Where are Veer and Arjun?" Randhir asked.

"I don't know. There were here a while ago. What the hell did you do huh?" She asked pointing a gun to her.

Preethi kicked her hand as the revolver fell off from her hands and it went rolling to Randhir.

Randhir picked up the revolver and immediately looked at his phone

"Shit, These guys have informed the cops about my location, I have to run away from here" Randhir said looking at Paridhi.

"Don't worry I'll handle them and the old man upstairs" she assured as Preethi moved towards me.

"What shall we do now?" She asked me as I looked at the siblings affectionately hugging each other.

"I have no idea, weren't you the one with the plan?" I asked

"No" she said as I sighed.

"Okay then do one thing. Go upstairs.  Try escaping with Dr. Bose from the back door while I'll handle both Paridhi and Anwar" she suggested.

"What? No? Remember you're not the saviour?" I said.

"Please go. I won't let myself get killed okay? I promise. Dr.Bose's life is more important and only you can save him Anamika please go" she said pushing me towards the stairs as Anwar didn't even say a word.

Almost half an hour later when I successfully moved Dr.Bose to a safe place I heard the firing of two gunshots.

Someone was shot.

There were two revolvers. One with Paridhi and the other with Anwar.

But who of the three were hit?

I immediately ran down to check for it and when I  did  my heart almost stopped beating.
