Veer's POV

As Anu went upstairs I,Arjun and Pree began discussing on how to get Randhir arrested.

We had to make sure that I and Arjun do not appear somewhere close because as per criminal records we are innocent and we didn't want any kind of involvement so that our future jobs and our family are not at stake.

"How about I and Anamika go in?" Preethi asked when Arjun hit her on the head.

"I told you not to be the saviour Everytime. Don't you understand?" He said.

"Yeah pree. I can't risk Anu's life. Neither am I risking yours." I replied.

She sighed.

Meanwhile Anwar came downstairs.

Arjun nudged Preethi in the ribs as I let out a slight cough.

"Where are you guys headed to?" Anwar asked looking at us

"Suit up buddy. We're on a mission" I said winking at Pree.

"Aye aye Captain" she said as we prepared ourselves to bring our loved ones out of this chaotic mess.

"But wait-"

"What's wrong Anwar?" Arjun asked.

"You can't bring Preethi along." He said.

"What? Why?" She questioned like a five year old kid.

"I received a text this morning. I don't want you to come along" he said.

"Dude can you show me the text?" I asked.

I looked at Pree who was looking away.

"Oye" I snapped at her.

"What!" She asked startled.

"What is it with you?" I asked her back.

"Hmm nothing" she said.

"Oh saviour. Shut up and tell us. You never know what you're hiding could actually lead us to who's behind all this." Arjun said while I began recollecting where I had seen the number before.

"Guys I'm ready. Let's go" Anu said coming downstairs.

"There's a problem" Arjun said as I explained everything to her.

"So we have two problems to solve" Anamika said.

"Pree was hiding something" Arjun reminded us.

"Yeah exactly" Anwar said.

"Can you shut up for once?" She asked Arjun

"Make me." Arjun scoffed at her and made a face.

"Guys stop!" I said. "You tell us Pree, what's wrong!"

"I've been receiving the same type of threatening messages since a week" she said as I sighed.

"And you didn't tell anyone about it?" Anamika asked the question running in my mind.

"Oh Natasha Romanoff we're going to sacrifice you for the soul stone alright? So stop being a heroine" Arjun remarked.

"I thought it was a prank or maybe it was someone who was jealous" she said casually.

"Let me check the number on true caller" I said.

"I've already done it" she said hesitantly.
