Chapter twenty

Flashback continues followed by Anamika's POV.

" I don't need your sympathy Seher. I need something else" she said pausing.

"What do you want? Tell me Samara, I'll give you anything and everything I can" I replied.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"Yes you're my sister. I'll give away anything for you" I replied.

"Alright then give me away the most precious thing of yours" she said.

"I didn't get you Samara"

"Give away your life..." She replied as I stood there in shock.

"Wha..What do you mean Samara?" I asked surprised.

"I mean kill yourself or else I'll have to kill you" she said angrily.

"But why?" I asked.

"As long as you exist. I'll never be able to find true love because everyone will love you and not me. If you die then I can lead a peaceful life." She said removing my Dad's revolver.

"Samara please no..."

"Seher" I heard a voice.

"Yug? Here to bid a final goodbye? Do it then" Samara said having me at  gunpoint.

"Look Samara. Seher is your own sister. You can't do that to her. She loves you so much that she got ready to sacrifice me for you" he said.

"So ask her to sacrifice once again. This time her life. I can't stand being someone's second choice at all" she said.

"Look at me once Samara. Don't you think I should be killed instead of her. I hurt you right?" He asked.

Samara was about to put her gun down.

I knew what she would do next.

She would kill Yug.

I yanked the gun which made the gun to fall out of her arms.

She ran to Yug and began choking him to death.

"Sam please stop" I begged but it was of no use.

I took the gun which was on the ground and pointed it at her.

As she stood up and walked over to my side I saw Yug having difficulty in breathing.

"Look what you've done Sam. I understand that you're upset but you've hurt two people you loved the most." I said.

"Love? Yes I loved both of you more than anything else in the world. But then what did both of you do? Betrayed me! Stabbed me in the back.
And you... You always wanted to be the better one right Seher?" She said exploding all her Anger out.

"What?" I exclaimed surprised.

"Remember how you were chosen the Head Girl for the school when all the social work was done by me? People never believed because I had a bad temper. They all thought it was you and Everyone loved you. The whole world preferred you over me. I was just your shadow" she said.

"You've had so much of hatred towards me? I never knew-"

"Stop with your sentimental drama now Seher." She said trying to pull the gun from me.

"Samara, stop all this" we heard an unfamiliar voice.

It was of The Sub Inspector.

He helped Yug and thanked him.

"You're going to pay for this Yug. You will she said as she tried pushing me off the edge.

Miraculously I balanced myself on the ground and to save my life The Inspector shot a bullet.
