Private chatroom between Inej and Kaz
Inej: hey
Kaz: I'd say "What business?" but it feels wrong typing it.
Inej: yeah...
Inej: i just wanted to make sure you weren't really upset
Kaz: Oh.
Kaz: I told you all to be here at two o'clock.
Inej: i know, im sorry
Inej: i couldn't get them out of bed
Kaz: You could have came by yourself, it would have been better than nobody coming.
Inej: ...
Kaz: What?
Inej: nothing
Kaz: Can you tell them that they really need to start paying attention to what's going on around them? I realized that they aren't going to take things seriously if we aren't communicating in person, so I arranged a way for us to meet and discuss things, and you guys ignored it.
Inej: we were really tired
Kaz: I'm tired too. Do you know why?
Inej: ?
Kaz: Because I was up all last night trying to come up with a plan on how we can ensure our fields don't get damaged without making it look like we staged the whole thing.
Inej: im really sorry, it's not fair
Inej: we kept spamming the chat when you told us not to, then we all hung out without you and invited kuwei, then we ignored your request for us to meet at Black Veil, and then Jesper kicked you out of your own chat
Kaz: Exactly.
Kaz: Except for the hanging out without me, I don't care about that.
Inej: oh of course not
Inej: i can add you back now
Kaz: No need, they won't listen to me anyway.
Inej: you're probably right
Inej: it's crazy to think those are the same people who broke into the ice court three months ago
Kaz: Has it really only been three months?
Inej: ikr
Inej: it means i know, right?
Kaz: I still need to tell you the plan, it involves a job for the Wraith.
Inej: black veil at six?
Kaz: I was actually thinking we could meet somewhere else.
Inej: where? the slat?
Kaz: No.
Inej: wylan's mansion?
Kaz: No, Inej.
Kaz: I was wondering if you wanted to meet at six o'clock for diner.
Inej: oh
Kaz: ...
Inej: to discuss the Wraith job?
Kaz: Yes.
Inej: alright, it's a date
Kaz: Okay.
to be continued...
