Patrick had fallen asleep while lying beside his best friend- his presence comforting him after the meteoric events that had occurred the previous night- HABIT falling into a deep depression and taking out his anger on the taller blonde other, because he knew he'd never leave.

Patrick would never abandon him.

Now that the morning sun filtered through the window and graced HABIT's room, Patrick could feel himself beginning to be pulled from his world of slumber- back into reality. Eyes gradually opening as the sun graced his face, the teenager yawned and carefully sat up to be sure he did not accidently wake HABIT in the process. Of course HABIT would still be sleeping- he was emotionally drained, no doubt; some more sleep than usual would likely do him the world of good.

Stretching out lightly before climbing out of the bed, the teenager adjusted his long sleeved red shirt and gently padded over to the window, gazing out at the view of the courtyard.

Little did he know, HABIT was observing with light amusement and a grin pulling at the corners of his lips, "Mornin'" He spoke suddenly, causing Patrick to jolt and almost topple backwards,

"I thought you were asleep?!" The blonde questioned, turning quickly on his heel to face his best friend, genuine surprise written on his features. He had just woken up, so his movements were quite sluggish- cute. HABIT himself was just about pulling himself out of a sleepy state, his brown hair messy as he sat up and yawned,

"Nope, you were wrong. You do that every mornin'?" The shorter teenager asked, "Just stare out the window?"

"Yes, why?" Patrick replied, calming from the accidental jump-scare. Running a hand through his own ruffled blonde hair, the taller other watched as HABIT gave a playful grin,

"No reason, 'is cute." He responded coolly, "Again, thanks for not leavin' last night. I don't know what I would have-"

"Please do not finish that sentence, and let us focus on the future rather than what happened. Coffee?" Patrick interjected, obviously not wishing to discuss the previous night. Unbeknownst to HABIT, what happened had upset Patrick greatly- however he had no ill will towards his best friend. It just hurt him to see HABIT suffering with something he could not fix.

Sensing the dismissive tone in Patrick's voice, HABIT gave a lazy grin and clambered out of his bed, "Sounds like a plan to me." He chuckled, stretching his arms up as another yawn escaped his lips. Patrick rolled his eyes in a playful manner,

"Fix your shirt, it is riding up."

"Like what you see?" HABIT teased, giving a wink to his best friend.

"Oh, shut it." The blonde sighed in response, earning a light laugh from the other male. HABIT tugged on his worn converse while Patrick adjusted his fluffy socks, before the both of them made their way out of HABIT's room and down the corridor, making their way to the canteen. It was early morning- but a healthy time. Seven o'clock, bright and ready, and it was also breakfast time.

The canteen was, unsurprisingly, quite empty, despite the few who were awake at this early time that wished to get food to assist in waking their systems from the long slumber, so, wandering around in warm pyjamas was hardly an issue. "What are you getting for food?" HABIT questioned, folding his arms across his chest as they walked into the canteen. Patrick fidgeted with his long sleeves and gave a shrug of his shoulders in response,

"Cereal, most likely." He responded, "I am not fussy- as long as tea is involved."

"Ew, tea." HABIT grimaced in a joking manner, as Patrick raised an eyebrow and gave a small smirk,
