Chapter 1 Because of Me

*Bakugou POV*

I open the door to the dorms living room area to find the entire class huddled around the southern wall. They circled earphone girl as she had her phone jack plugged into the wall intently listening to what ever was happening behind the wall.

"What are you idiots doing now?" I asked as I rolled my eyes.

Most of their heads turn to face me, placing index fingers over their mouths to hush me.

"DONT TELL ME TO SHUT UP!" I barked.

"Hey man!" Kirishima popped up from behind the class and started heading my way.

"Shhhh" the class said in sync.

"Grrrrr" I started.

But Kirishima threw his arm around me and started to explain.

"Do You know about Kira Nanami?" He asked as I brushed off his arm.

The name brings up the image of the missing girl that was all over the news a while back.

"Lost girl. What about her?" I don't bother hiding the irritation in my voice. I'm getting bored.

"Well, it looks like the league of villains were responsible for taking her" Kirishima continued.

Now he got my attention. My entire body tenses and I try to ignore the tremor in my hand.

"So the Hosu police has come to request help from the pros at U.A. And..." he paused.

He points his thumb back towards the wall huggers.

"They are having a meeting with the teachers right now! Jiro is listening in to give us the deets!" He smiled annoyingly.

"What are they going to do?" I asked.

"So far it seems U.A is going to back them up on the recon mission"

"Tsk." I turn towards the door.

"Hey! Hey man! Where you goin'?" Kirishima called out to me.

"Im going out for a run!" I barked.

I was planning on a run, but my feet took me in the direction of the conference room instead. I stopped just down the hall way and leaned back against the wall; not really sure what I'm waiting for.

That girl has been gone for over a month. Did they want to recruit her like they wanted me? By now she must of given in or shes done for. Was she a hero course student?

The conference room doors open and the voices  become louder, and distinguishable as they step out onto the the hallway.

"You ready to go All Might?"

"I'll be out in a few, go ahead without me" All Might recommended.

"Don't worry, we will bring her back"

My hand starts to tremble again as the flashes of the night I was taken start to replay in my head as well as what the result of my weakness did to All Might.

How he... because of me... he...

I clench my jaw and ball up my  fist. I take a deep breath, and steal my nerves as I make my way towards the conference room to face the man who lost everything because of me.

"I want in All Might"
