Chapter 31 Miss Me?

*Bakugou's POV*

I sprint up the stairs and go for the 3rd door on my right, based in the noises we had heard coming from upstairs.

Without hesitating I turn the knob and burst inside.

Nanamis eyes are wild as her shoulders rise and fall with her ragged breaths, she stood protectively infront her of mother, who lays on the floor un-moving. A man stood by an open window. He was out of breath as well. I Immediately spot the electrical burn marks across his face.

The bastards attention finally lands on me and panic crosses his face, now looking back and fourth between Nanami and I before he curses under his breath.

Nanami suddenly starts choking, her hand reflexively grabbing her throat. I step towards her as she discharges another current towards the unwelcome guest and then gasps as if she had been drowning.

In between heavy breaths she explains "His quirk" She continues to breath heavily "Suffocates, it sucks the air right out of you, you cant breath, cant speak."

The scumbag gathered himself again, recovering from Nanamis attack. "Im going to kill this bitch!" He raged.

I aim my palms, but nothing happens.

I try to breath , but there is no air to breath in, and thats when it hits me, he removes oxygen, my explosions cant combust without it.

But he cant seem to hold his quirk forever, he is just as winded as Nana and when she attacks him he drops his quirk.

Adrenaline floods my system, it pumps and beats through me like its trying to escape. The bastard lunges at me and grabs me by the collar. I twist and we both fall to the floor with a hard thud. I roll on top of him and swing, my fist collides with his jaw and his face goes slack.

"What the hell is taking so long!" A familiar voice entered the room.  This one coming through the very door I had just used.

From the corner of my eye I see Nanami collapse onto her knees.

I look towards her, but shes frozen in panic.

No.... Terror.

"Hey Little Red" The winged basterd greeted as if they were old friends, his voice was low and smooth. A fox smile curled his mouth. Something in his eyes made the hairs on my neck rise.

He kneeled down to meet her eyes. Her skin paled, lips slightly parted, eyes wide, tears gathering within them, her body trembled as he extended his hand and caressed her face softly as if he'd done it a thousand times. "Miss me?"
