Chapter 29 Attraction

Nanami POV

I spun to face him. "Why do you care, its not lik-"

In a split second he wrapped one hand around my waist and cupped my face with the other.

Im pinned against the counter as warm lips press against mine.

Suddenly every thought or worry I had was eclipsed by this kiss right now.

His lips were soft, but urgent, Cautious, yet curious. It was as if his mind was in turmoil, but he Couldn't quiet stop.

Fireworks coursed through me.

He pulled away, slightly short of breath; my lips feel cold.

He looked just as surprised as I was before our lips met again, and I melt into him.

My heart is beating fast enough to power a city. The butterflies in my stomach roared victoriously.

He tasted sweet and smokey. His hand slides down my side, over my hip and thigh. He hikes my knee up to his hip and lifts me onto the counter.

I bury my hands in his golden hair, While his hands run up and down my thighs.

He gently pushes my knees apart and pulls me to the edge of the counter.

I wrap my legs around him as desire makes my mind foggy.

His lips wander down my neck and a moan escapes my lips. "Mngh"

A cocky smile curled his mouth.

A closing door on the second floor snaps us both out of our whirlwind kiss.

Our eyes lock as we both remain frozen waiting for another sound.

When we hear nothing else we rest our forheads together. His breath feels warm against my nose.

Our eyes meet and start we start to chuckle.

"This is what I mean" I smile helplessly.

His eyes searched mine.

"You run so hot and cold" I sighed.

He dropped his gaze as he pulls away slightly. His hands on either side of my knees.

"I'm" He hesitated. I could tell he felt uncomfortable.

"I'm not good at this"

I remained quiet.

"I'm not sure what to do, or how to act" He confessed.

Neither did I if I was being honest.

I have been through a lot, not just with the league, but after being rescued its been one thing after another and Bakugou has helped me through all of it.

Maybe thats why I feel this... attraction towards him, but I hardly know him.

I sit up straight and take a deep breath and release it slowly.

Bakugou raises an eyebrow at my sudden shift.

"My name is Kira Nanami" I place a flat palm on my chest.

He looks at me like I'm crazy, but he plays along. "Katsuki Bakugou" He answered suspiciously.

"Its nice to meet you Bakugou, thank you for saving me and for not giving up on me" I continued.

Pink tinted his cheeks.

"Lets be friends" I suggested with an extended hand.

He gives me a defiant scowl, but surely enough he stretches out his hand and shakes mine.

A loud thud upstairs grabs our attention.

"Mom?"
