Somebody Waiting

Island

He made sure to thoroughly implement his punishment on her. Or is it really a punishment since a lot of women in the island is now wishing that they were her.

"Mags, look at that Raine girl and doctor crush! Grabe. You think paturo na tayo pano manggayuma?" One girl whispered to her.

They are now in a rented hall in the island where everyone must attend before going on their own. They discuss the schedules in the two and a half days of their stay. They will have to eat together at lunch and there would be programs at night where everyone is required to join and participate.

After the short meeting, the president of the batch reunion said a few words before closing it.

While these things are happenning, the row in the back are just eyeing two people who seem to not keep their hands to themselves—-Raine and Richard.

"Chard! Ano ba!" Raine whisper-shouted after he kissed her full on the lips nonchalantly.

"What?"

"It's not yet 30 minutes. Goodness ka naman eh."

"You don't like it?"

"I like it bu——" he didn't let her finish.

Kiss.

Kinalabit sya ng nasa likuran: L.A.

"Mamser, hindi po to sinehan. Wala pong romantic na scoring. Hindi rin po patay ang ilaw kaya itigil nyo yan."

Napa-facepalm na lang si Raine dahil sa kawirduhan ng mister nya. Hindi nya akalain na seryoso pala talaga ito nang sinabing magiging PDA sila buong araw.

"Chard..." nagmamakaawang sambit nito na tinugon naman ng taas ng kilay ng katabi. "I get the message you want to convey to the public pero grabe ka na ah..."

"So ayaw mo na ganito ako?" His eyes saddened. "Hindi naman ako umaarte eh, gusto ko talagang malaman nila na sayong-sayo ako... tsaka gusto rin kitang halikan because this is the first get away we had after our wedding, parang honeymoon natin."

"Honey moon natin with live audience." She replied that made Richard pouted. He remove his hands crowding her and settled it like a good child on his lap. He busied his eyes watching what's happening on the stage while the woman beside him rolled her eyes as she knows that her husband is back to his matampuhing self.

"Oh.." she holds his chin to look at her. "Tampo ka na?"

Silence.

At their back L.A gets the popcorn from her sling bag and watches the drama unfold before her eyes.

I live for these moments! Libre sine.

Back to the couple.

"Tampo beybi ko?" Raine hugs his biceps and intentionally rubs her front. He looked at her, eyes lingering a little longer than necessary. Parang bibigay na pero parang hinde. And then after a while decided to look the other way.

Inside, Raine knows that he is just playing with her para magpaamo. Well, in rare cases like this, you bring out your best cards.

She put her head on his lap and looked at him, playing with his hands that she kisses every now and then.

"So what does my baby wants para bati na kami? Cuddle?"

He glances at her faking his frown and uninterestedly said after looking back on the stage, "higher."

Ayan na sya... Maharot Richard never fails me...

"Hmmm... kiss? 20 minutes."

He tsked. "Higher. Hindi sapat."

She acts thinking. "Whole body massage...with..."

With this his eyes look at her dilated and anticipating. "With...?"

"With...snacks."

Pffft.. boo..

Disappointed he sighed and pouted while the woman on his lap is dying of laughing. Few moments and she straighten her sit and whispers to his ear.

"Yung massage na yun may kasamang disney sa dulo." He looked at her confuse.
"Disney?" She nodded.
"Happy ever after." She smirked while he froze because surely, mukhang magmamarathon sila mamaya sa villa.

"Ano, happy ka na?"
"Oo sana kaso love mo lang naman ako kapag tayong dalawa lang. When we are in public it is as though you are allergic with me."
"Mahal, yun ba nararamdaman mo kanina pa?" She drapes her hand around his shoulder.
"Oo." Tipid nitong sagot.

They look ok each other for a few moment at maya-maya nagsalit si Raine.

"Kiss me." Her tone changed as well as her aura.
"Uhmmm?" Dudang sagot ng asawa na nagulat sa pag-iibang mood nito.
"I said kiss me." Ulit nito. He faces her and smirked with glint on his eyes.
"You do know that you turn my heart upside down whenever you speak with seriousness?"
She smirked.
"I know...now kiss me."
"And you do know that if I kiss you right now it will not be a chaste kiss, right? I'm giving you time my love, you can ret-----" she did not let him finish and unceremoniously crashed her lips on his and what happened next causes people around them to budge their eyes out, some even took pictures, while many woman can't comprehend how in the world it happened that their batch mate, Raine of all people would be with someone as ideal as this man. And it is clear, that the love they share is passionate and real.

"Hoy! Iha, iho! Anonh nangyayare!" Reaksyon ni L.A habang patuloy pa rin ang dalawa sa paghahalikan na parang walang ibang tao kundi sila lang.

"Naniniwala na ko na mahal nyo talaga ang isat-isa, utang na labas, get a room! Wow english yon. Hoy!" dagdag pa nito.

Habang nasa kanila pa rin ang atensyon ng lahat, hindi nila namalayan na mayroon palang bagong bisitang dumating. He looked on everyone who seemed busy by clamouring over something which he cannot define from where he stands. Good thing the emcee is alert and saw him immediately.

"Okey people! May bagong dating. Let's give a hand to Sam!"
