"So you and Dylan seem pretty close. Do you know him from before or something?" Amy asked. She offered me a ride afterschool so I invited her over for a while.
I had a look of pure disgust on my face. "Hell no. If anything, its the complete opposite."
She cocked an eyebrow at me and I sighed.
"He's my next door neighbor, that's how I know him. But believe me, I already hate him."
Her mouth hung open and her eyes widened. "WHAT?!" She shrieked. This time, I was the one who cocked and eyebrow. "How could you hate someone that looks like...THAT!"
I then realized that she was one of the many girls who wished they were with him.
"Its simple. All I had to do was talk to him." I said, rolling my eyes.
"But he's so hot." She said.
I shook my head and laughed to myself. "Have you ever even talked to him?"
She lightly tilted her head in thought. "A few times. Hardly though."
"And that's exactly why you think he's so amazing."
She chuckled. "Well don't tell anyone, but I had the biggest crush on him at the beginning of the year."
"I hope you moved on." I said.
She nodded. "Well I don't like him, but I don't like anyone else either."

I was sitting in Calculus the next morning listening to the announcements with my head on my desk. Dylan was sitting beside me tapping his pencil on the desk.
"Shut up." I snapped in a whisper.
"Or else what?" He cocked an eyebrow.
"Or else I'll make you." I said.
"Oh come on Skye, you remember what happened last time you tried to make me do something." He had a smirk on his face.
My eyes widened as soon as I realized he was talking about that night I went to his house for dinner.
"You're disgusting." I rolled my eyes and put my head back down on my desk.
"I understand that a lot of you have been having trouble with question number 13 from last night's homework." Mrs. Lakes started the lesson.
I tried to pay attention to what she was saying but SOMEONE kept poking me.
I did my best to ignore him but a person only has so much patience.
"WHAT?" I whisper-shouted. Or so I thought. Apparantly it was a bit louder than a whisper.
"Skye, would you like to show the class how to solve the next quesiton?" Mrs. Lakes asked, obviously annoyed.
"No no, that's quite alright." I said, sinking in my seat.
"Come on Skye, go for it." Dylan said. "It seems as if you might have the right answer." He was looking down at my sheet, my BLANK sheet. I didn't understandanything in Calculus. He was clearly trying to embarrase me.
"Is that so? Well come on up Skye." Mrs. Lakes said, intruiged.
I took in a deep breath and went up o the board where the question was written. I stood there for a moment, then decided to write a bunch of random numbers, and I just might figure out how to do it along the way.
I started to write the stuff on the board and stood there when I was finished.
"Um..I'm sorry Skye but this is incorrect." Mrs. Lakes said hesitantly. My work obviously had nothing to do with calculus then.
