"Skye!" I turned around to the sound of my name and saw Amy speed walking towards me from her car.

"Hey Amy." I greeted her with a smile.

She caught up to me and we started walking towards the school. "So, did you and Jake end up doing anything last night?" She asked with a smirk.

I chuckled. "I told you, Jake and I are only friends."

"Good, because I have some news for you." She said, looking extremely excited.

"Tell me." I started getting excited myself.

"Well, I was talking to Dylan last night a-"

I interrupted her. "You were talking to Dylan?"

She nodded. "Yeah, but thats another story. Anyways, he told me that Joseph is probably going to ask you out today."

I felt my heart skip a beat. "Are you serious?" Wow, I guess I really did like him.

She nodded. "Yup. You're going to say yes, right?"

"Yeah." I said, feeling my cheeks get pink.

I took my time changing after gym. Joseph wasn't at school today, so I was in no hurry for anything.

"I guess it'll happen tomorrow then." Amy muttered.

I nodded. "Yeah, I guess."

We finished changing and went to our lockers. My cell phone started vibrating and I took it out of my pocket. The caller ID said 'Joseph.'

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey Skye." I heard his voice on the other line.

"Hi Joseph."

"Come outside to the parking lot by my car. Its parked at the front of the school." He said.

"You're here?" My mood seemed to brighten up.

"Yup." He said cheerfully.

"I'll be right there." I hung up and ran to Amy.

"Joseph's here, he wants me to go to the front of the school." I said.

There was a grin on her face. "I think it's going to happen now." She said. "Have fun."

I walked down the stairs and out the front enterance. Sure enough, Joseph was there leaning against his car.

I walked towards him and he stood up straight. He had his hand behind his back.

"Hey," I said, with that stupid school-girl crush grin on my face.

He pulled out a bouqet of roses and I felt my cheeks burning. I probably looked ike a tomato.

"Skye, I know we've only known each other for a short while, but will you be my girlfriend?"

I couldn't take it anymore so I swung my arms around his neck and pulled him into a hug.

~

"Hey Skye,"

"Hey Jake." I said back into the phone. I was at home and it was 8:00. All my homework was finished so I decided that I should let him know about what happened today.

"So, I have something to tell you." There was a pause on the other end and I could tell he was listening intently. "Joseph asked me out today."

"Really? Congrats." He said. There was probably a smile on his face by the tone of his voice.

"Thanks. So how's the whole Serena situation going?"

He sighed. "We ignored each other the entire day, and I think I like it like that."

I chuckled. "Good, you deserve better." I heard someone open the front door. "Well, I gotta go, my parents are home. I'll talk to you later."

"Bye." The both of us hung up.

"Skye?!" My mom called.

"I'm in the living room!" I called back.

My parents walked into the living room and sat down with me. "Are you doing anything on Friday night?"

I shook my head. "Not that I know of."

"Well we just got invited to the Martins' dinner party." My mom said excitedly.

"Okaaay." I extended the word.

"There are a lot of kids from your school invited too, so you won't be bored. It's going to be held at a hall." My dad said.

"Oh, alright..I guess."

Dylan's POV

"Baby, I'm so bored." Rose said in that annoying, pouty voice of hers.

"Well thats what happens when you're doing homework." I said.

"What do you say we take a little break." She put down her binder - not like she was even working to begin with - and seductivly leaned in closer to me. I did my best to resist.

"I can't Rose. Not right now. I have to work my ass off to get into that college."

She slouched and pouted her lips. Rose was the type of girl that was only good for fucking..nothing else. Then again, I think of all girls like that.

"This party your parents are having, I'm invited, right?"

I nodded. "Yeah, your family's name was on the list."

She leaned in close to me again, and I could see down her shirt. What a turn on.

She kissed me softly and I couldn't resist anymore. I put my stuff down gently and roughened the kiss. I felt her smile. I turned us over so that I was on top and one thing led to the other - as always.
