-----------------------------

It was Monday, the worst day of the week. I opened my locker and put my Chemistry stuff in since I wouldn't be needing it until after lunch.

"Hey, Skye." I looked up and saw a smiling Joseph.

"Hey Joseph, whats up?" I zipped up my bag.

"Oh I'm just hoping that somehow the bell doesn't ring so that I wouldn't have to go to Physics class." He said.

I chuckled. "Well goodluck with that." The bell rang and I closed my locker.

"You have calculus now, right?" He asked.

I fake-gasped. "Joseph. Are you stalking me now?" I said jokingly.

He looked caught off guard. "N-no. I just know Dylan's schedule and he told me he had all of his classes wi-"

I cut him off with my laughing. "Relax, I was joking."

He seemed to relax. "I'll walk you to class."

"Alright." I smiled, and the both of us headed towards my calculus class.

He dropped me off at the door.

"Have fun in physics." I said.

He chuckled. "Oh, I will." I turned around to walk into class. "Wait." I turned back around. "I was wondering if you wanted to hang out at lunch."

I smiled again. "Sure."

"Cool. I'll see you in gym class then." He said. I nodded and walked into class.

"You and Joseph eh?" Dylan said with a smirk.

"Oh please, I've hardly ever talked to the guy." I said.

I sat down as soon as Ms. Lakes walked in. "Okay class, take out the homework you had over the weekend and we'll do some questions."

I took out my binder and turned to the homework. "Skye, would you like to do the first question on the board?"

I nodded and got up. I quickly did the question and sat back down.

"Excellent job." She smiled at me and then at Dylan.

About 30 minutes later, we were assigned some pages from the textbook to work on.

"Shit." I muttered as 2 sheets of paper feel out of my binder. I bent over in my chair to pick them up.

I lifted my head up and saw Dylan looking at me - no wait, down my shirt - smirking.

"Would you quit being so damn perverted?" I said, annoyed.

He shrugged. "Can't help it, I like what I see."

I sat up and punched him in the arm. It didn't seem to bother him too much because his smirk only grew bigger. I rolled my eyes and got back to work.

"So, what do you wanna do for lunch?" Amy asked. We were in the change room, changing back into our regular clothes.

"Um, actually, Joseph asked me to hang out with him today." I said, unsure of what she'd say.

Her eyes widened. "Really?" I nodded and felt myself blush. "Nice. He's cute. And he's got some...experience." She picked her words carefully.

"Huh?"I probably had avery confused looking expression on myface.

"He has alot of experience."She paused and saw that I had no idea what she meant. "Experience in bed."

"Oh."

"He's not a virgin." She smirked. "He hasn't gone one year without...doing it... since the ninth grade."

"Wow. That's...uh...that's something that would make me think twice." I picked up my bag and Amy did the same.

"Why, are you..." She looked at me and I nodded.

"Are you?"

Her face went red and shook her head."But it was only once. I'm not a whore or anything." She saw that I seemed a bit worried. "Don't think to much of it though, Joseph's a really nice guy, he's not gonna try to get you to do something you don't wanna do."

We headed to our lockers, which were across the hall from eachother.

Minutes later, Joseph came. I put my bag in my locker and closed it.

"Hey, ready to go?" He asked.

"Yup, where to?"

"Anywhere you wanna go." He said as we walked out of the school. We were now at his car and I got into the passenger seat.

"How about Dairy Queen?" I suggested.

He chuckled. "You want Ice Cream for lunch?"

I nodded. "If you don't mind. Or we can go to Starbucks or something."

He laughed. "No no, Dairy Queen's good. Its just that any other girl would tell me that she didn't wanna eat becauseshe wants to lose weight. It's cool to finally meet a girl who actually eats."

I felt my face go pink.

We arrived at Dairy Queen. "What flavour do you want?" He asked, stairing at the different kinds in that window thing.

"Actually, what flavour do YOU want." I wasn't about to let him pay.

He rolled his eyes. "I asked you."

"Yeah well so did I." I said with a smile.

After a 5 minute argument, I decided to give in this time. "Fine, Mango." I said.

There was a smile of accomplishment on his face. "Thank you."He turned to the cashier, who had been watching us argue intently. "One large Mango cone and A large Vanilla cone please."

"And what type of cone would you like?" The woman said.

Joseph looked at me. "Waffle." I said.

The woman nodded and started taking scoops of each flavour and putting it on the cone.

"You didn't have to get me a large." I muttered.

"Yeah I did." He said with a grin.

It was 5:00 and I was sitting in my room finishing homework. My cell phone started ringing beside me. I checked the caller ID and saw that it was Jake.

"Hey Jake." I put the phone between my ear and sholder as I contniued to do my Chemistry homework.

"Hey Skye, what's up?"

"Nothing really, just finishing up some homework, you?"

"Nothing." He said. "Just broke up with my girlfriend." He muttered.

"What? You never told me you had a girlfriend Saturday night." I said, shocked.

"That's because I wasn't really sure what we were. Now I'm a hundred percent sure that we're ex's." He said.

"That sucks, are you okay?" I asked.

"I guess." He paused. "I just realized that we don't really know anything about each other. I mean, all I know about you is that your name is Skye and you're 17 years old."

"My name is not Skye." I said with a fake, confused tone in my voice. It was quiet on the other end. I burst out laughing. "I'm kidding."

"That's a relief, or that would've been really embarrasing." He chuckled nervously.

"What do you say we meet up sometime this week and talk, so we could get to know each other." I offered.

"How about tomorrow after school?"

"Sounds good. Listen, I'm gonna finish up this homework and I'll call you later."

"Alright, bye."

"Bye." I hung up and put the phone beside me.
