The rest of the week had passed by quickly. It was finally saturday and I was doing my usual 'Saturday Routine' -which was laying on the couch and doing absolutely nothing.

"Do you have any plans for tonight, Skye?" I looked up and saw that it was my dad.

"No." I said, relaxing again.

"Why don't you make plans with that girl at your school, Amy?" This time, it was my mom who was talking.

"Yeah sure, I'll call her later." I said, not taking my eyes off the TV.

"Why don't you call her now?" She asked.

I turned back around to look at her. "Why do you want me out of the house so bad?"

My mom and dad looked awkwardly at each other. "Oh god." I said, grossed out. Were they really making plans to do...THAT?!

My mom cocked an eyebrow at me. "We're going out for the night." I relaxed a bit, "And we don'twant to leave you here alone."

"Why not?"

"Because we want you to have fun tonight." My dad said.

"Alright, alright, I'll make plans for tonight." My parents smiled.

They walked out of the living room. I took out my cellphone and dialed Amy's number.

"Hello?" She answered on the third ring.

"Hey Amy, its Skye. Are you doing anything tonight?" I asked.

"Nope."

"So you wanna do something?" I asked.

"Sure, lets go out." She sounded excited. "I heard of this awesome club called Luxy."

"Is it all ages?" I asked.

"Tonight it is." She said. "You wanna go? It opens at 9."

"Sure." I said, running up to my room to look through my closet.

"Cool. I'll pick you up at 8:30. Bye." We hung up and continued to look for something to wear.

I spent 10 minutes staring at my closet but couldn't find anything. I went to my parents' room and knocked on the door.

"Hey mom," I said when she opened the door. "I'm hanging out with Amy tonight."

"Where are you guys going?" She asked.

"Her house." I lied. I didn't know what she would say about an all ages club.

"What time are you leaving?"

I realized that 8:30 might sound kind of late, but there was no turning back now. "8:30."

My mom stared at me for a while then nodded. "Alright, as long as you're home by 12:00."

I nodded and turned around, headed back to my room.

My parents left two hours later and I was left home alone. It was 7:00.

I was in the kitchen getting a drink when the doorbell rang. Could it be Amy already?

I ran to the door because who ever it was wouldn't stop ringing it. I opened it and was welcome by a face belonging to the most annoying human being I've ever known- Dylan.

"Ugh, what do you want?" I folded my arms across my chest.

"Well, I decided I'll forgive you." He said.

I was confused. "Huh?"

"For ignoring me for the whole week after the whole calculus incident." He said it like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "I thought about it, and I decided that I can put your little silent treatment behind us."

I cocked an eyebrow at him. "I never apologized to you."

"Yeah but you were going to. I saw it in your eyes." He said.

It took everything I had not to push him down the steps. "Saw it in my eyes? What the hell is wrong with you, I would never apologize to you."

He looked taken back. "Uh, you're talking to ME." He made a gesture to himself. "Dylan. Dylan Martin."

"Yeah I know your name. Now leave." I closed tried closing the door but he blocked it.

"Just apologize and everything will be cool between us again." He said.

"NOTHING was ever cool between us. Now BYE." I moved his hand and slammed the door shut. Some people were just so annoying.

I went back up to my closet and decided on a red halter top and black short shorts.

I got dressed and applied a little bit of make up. My cellphone started ringing, and I saw that it was Amy.

"Hey." I answered.

"Hey. I'mnear your street, which one's your house again?" She asked.

"3822. I'll be standing outside." We hung up and I ran downstairs, took my keys, and walked out the door.

"Skye?" I turned around and saw Dylan and Joseph at the basketball net.

"Hey." I said.

"I'm impressed, Walter." Dylan said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes. He just had to call me by my last name.

Joseph gave Dylan a glare then looked back at me. "Where are you going?"

Just then, Amy's car pulled up on my driveway. "Out with Amy." I said quickly. "Bye." I got into the car and Joseph waved. Dylan still had a stupid smirk on his face.

Dylan's POV

"Dylan," I stopped dribbling and looked at Joseph. "I think I know who this year's bed-catch is going to be."

A 'bed-catch' is our way of saying; the person we're going to sleep with. Every year we set a goal for ourselves.

"Who?" I asked.

"Skye."

I chuckled. "She's kind of difficult, but go for it."
