Dylan's POV

2:00 pm

I Knocked on the door and took a step back. I can't go back now. I gotta be the bigger person. I have to do this for me and Skye.

The door opened and Joseph stepped out. "Why are you here?" He spat.

"We need to talk"

"We don't need to do anything"

"Can you please just hear me out." I said quickly.

He rolled his eyes and we sat down in the chairs he had on his porch.

We sat there in silence for a moment. "I didn't mean to tell Rose it slipped."

"Don't lie"

"I wouldn't have come all this way to lie to you Joseph" I almost spat. Be the bigger person Dylan.Do it for Skye. "I looked out the window, and I saw you and Sky arguing...Rose was all jealous and asked why you were with her anyways, and i said to lay her... It slipped, I told her it was a lie I told her don't say anything.... when you guys broke up I guess she told Skye and Skye told you."y

"Is that the truth?" He seemed calmer than before.

"I told you, I didn't come all this way t-"

"To lie. I got it." He interrupted.

I sighed "I know what I did was wrong... but we've been bros since diaper days, we can't let a female get in between that, you know me, I wouldn't do that to you."

"Why'd it take you this long to tell me this" He said.

"Dude." I chuckled. "You know, and I know..... you have anger issues."

We both laughed for a while. "Yeah that's true" He smiled "That's why my mom put me in classes."

We laughed again.Then I got serious. I needed to tel him about Skye.

"Dude can we go inside, it's too cold man" He said getting up and opening the door.

"Me and Skye are -"

"Together" He said like he already knew. I looked at him. "Dude I knew you guys liked each other, that's why I got so angry when she found out about me wanting to lay her. I thought you sabotaged me."

"Never" I said walking into his house. We walked into the kitchen.

"Coffee?" He asked

"Yea..." He took out the coffee maker. "I didn't know that I liked her until after you guys broke up."

"Man im not mad"

This was easier than I thought.

Skye's POV

5:00 pm

"But mom"

"Skye"

"How many times do I have to tell you.... I HATE HIM."

"Hate is a very strong word don't you think?" She said picking out a shirt.

I rolled my eyes. My parents and the Andersons got invited to a stupid rich people party. But here's the fun part, Its in another state. Their going to be gone for 3 days. That means three whole days Stuck with Kyle. Alone!

"Okay fine, Can he at least sleep in the guest room."

"If he wants he can" She said putting another dress in her suitcase.

"He's not gonna want, mom" I said angrily.

"Don't worry, we come back Chrismas eve morning" She said like that helped anything.

I walked out her room and went downstairs to the livingroom and went on my laptop. I put my headphones on and put on some music videos. When I felt my phone vibrate. I looked at it and saw that it was Amy.

I answered the phone.

"Hey Amy"

"Hey" she said weary.

"Whar's wrong?" I sat up worryed.

"Well.....Jack.......and I....." She said slowly.

"Spit it out" I pushed.

"I like him...and I think he likes me... I was just wondering..." She trailed off.

I sat back "Amy.! You can date him, you can even date Kyle, even Joseph, my eyes are on Dylan." I told her.

"Good" she sighed. "So how are things with Kyle.?"

"Your never gonna believe this, his parents and my parents are going to an out of state rich peoples party and won't be back until Christmas eve."

"But that's three days away!"

"Yup... they leave tonight." I said.

"Omg so can I spend the night?" she asked excited.

"That's not a bad idea." I said as mom was conveniently walking past.

"Whats not a bad idea sweetie?" She said.

"Can I have some people over tonight and Amy spend the night?"

"Sure" she said. "Just be nice to Kyle"

"Yes Amy you can come over" I said ignoring moms comment. As she went upstairs to get her other suitcase. "You sure you want to be here when Kyles here?"

"It's whatever, wait does Dylan know about your parents leaving?"

"I didn't talk to him today, he texted me this morning and told me he needed to take care of business and not to call him cause he'd be busy." I said standing up to look out the window.

"Is he home?"

"His car isn't there." I said.

"Oh, well I'll be over in a sec"

"OK bye" we hung up.

Then Kyle came down the stairs. "Your gonna invite all your hot girl friends over?" He said with a smirk.

"I rolled my eyes."

6:30

"Bye Mom and Dad" I said as they drove down the driveway. When they were out of sight I put on my jacket and walked over to Dylan's house since his car was there.

I went up the stairs and knocked on the door. But he didn't answer the door.

"Joseph?" I said confused. He smiled at me. Then Dylan came up behind him.

" I just wanted to say that I'm home alone with Kyle, Lisa, Amy, and Jake. If you wanna come over and we'll order pizza and play cards and watch movies all night."

"OK we'll be over" Joseph said.

This is so weird. They're not friends I know their not.

As Joseph went back in the house Dylan said "We'll talk later" and kissed me on the nose. I walked over to my house and it started snowing. This can't be good.
