--------
I walked up the steps in front of Dylan's house and knocked on the door. I waited patiently until he opened the door.
"Skye?"
"Um, hey. Can we talk?" I asked.
"Sure, come in." I stepped into the house and he closed the door behind me. "So...about today. I'm just wondering why liking me made you avoid me."
He ran his fingers through his hair. "I've...I've never liked anyone before. So when I realized I liked you, I thought that avoiding you might make those feelings go away."
"But you've dated a bunch of girls." I said.
"Yeah but I never liked them." He said, shrugging.
I reached up and kissed him. I pulled away. "I like you too."
There was a sweet smile on his face. The way he smiled was like a six year old who just got the toy of his dreams.
We stood like that for a moment; his arms wrapped around my waist and my hands a bit below his shoulders. "So what happens now?" I asked.
He looked into my eyes for a few seconds, then leaned down and gave me a passionate kiss. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked when we pulled away.
My cheeks were flaming red; I could feel it. I couldn't say anything so I just nodded like an idiot.
He laughed quietly and kissed me again.

"Then he surprised me by telling me he likes me." I said into the phone. I was in a three way call with Amy and Lisa and I was telling them about what happened at school today.
"Then what happened?" Amy asked.
"I let him walk away after...I didn't know what to say." I said.
"Oh." They said.
"But there's more." I said.
"What?" Lisa asked.
I sighed. "I think I just made a big mistake."
"What happened?!" They asked at the same time, only this time they sounded anxious.
"I told Dylan that I like him." I said.
There was a pause, and neither of them said anything. "Guys?" I said.
"Why is that a mistake?" Lisa asked.
"Because..." I said, my thoughts trailing off. "Well, you know the reputation he has."
"What about it?" Amy asked.
"He has the reputation of a player, guys. Maybe he tells all the girls he dates that he likes them when he really couldn't care less."
"Skye, you know he wouldn't do that." Lisa said.
"Yeah but...I don't know. I just don't wanna get hurt." I said.
"You won't." Amy said. "Dylan's personality was completely different when he was with Rose than when he's with you. With Rose, you could sense the player side in him. He's never said anything sweet to her like what he said to you."
"And how do you know that?" I asked.
"Her friends are really bad at keeping their mouths shut." She said.
I chuckled. "Well I have to go. I'm hanging out with him in half an hour, and I wanna get ready. Oh and guys, please don't say anything to anyone about this. I don't want people finding out until Monday at school."
"Okay, bye." They said.
"Bye." I hung up and put the phone on the bed beside me.
I sighed. Maybe he really does like me, and I'm just over thinking everything. I mean, a jerk can change, right?
I stood in front of my closet, not really sure of what to wear. We were going to stay in tonight. He was going to come over after my parents left to go out, and we were going to watch movies and just hang out.
I decided on a pair of dark blue jeans and an olive-green tank top. The top of the shirt was sparkly.
I brushed my hair and applied some mascara.
At exactly 8:00, the doorbell rang. I rushed down the stairs, more excited than I had expected myself to be. I opened the door and a gust of freezing cold air hit me. It was the first week of December, so it was snowing pretty hard.
I pulled him in and closed the door. He laughed, and I took a good look at him. He looked...WOW.
"Hey." He gave me a peck on the lips. He had his arms behind his back, and swung them forward handing me a bouqet of flowers.
I felt my cheeks go pink. "This is sweet."
We walked into the living room and I took out the case full of DVDs. "Pick a movie."
He held out The Proposal. "I haven't seen this one yet."
I laughed. "Good, because I love this movie. I wanna go make cookies so I'll be right back."
I went into the kitchen, thinking that I'd find the prepared dough. Instead, all I found was the flour. "Ugh, great." I muttered once I realized I'd have to make it from scratch.
I tried to open the bag gently, but that didn't work. So, I thrust it open only to have a bunch of flour fly up in my face. I screamed. "SHIT!"
Dylan came running in. "Skye, are you oka-" He stopped and stared at me wide eyed, then burst out laughing. "You look a little pale Skye."
I glared at him, grabbed a hand full of flour, and threw it right at his face.
He slowly wiped some it off in order to open his eyes. He then grabbed a handful and I ducked under the counter just as he threw it.
He hopped over the counter and I ran to the island. Now, he was across from me. He threw a handful and hit my shirt.
I then made a run for the bag of flour on the counter behind him, but he grabbed me and pulled me to him.
He started to tickle me and I laughed hysterically. "D-Dyl-DYLAN!" I said in between laughs. "St-stop!" We were now on the floor and he was on top of me.
"Okay, but first you have to say 'Dylan is the sexiest most amazing boy I have ever met in my life'." He said.
"Never!" I said.
He shrugged and then started tickling me again. "No, no w-wait!" I said.
"Give in?" He asked.
"Dylan is..." I trailed off. He moved back a little, which gave me enough space to some what sit up and grab the bag of flour. I took a handful and threw it straight in his face.
I slid back and got up. I wasn't fast enough though, because he had already gotten up and pulled me back to him.
We looked at each other for a while, and he leaned down. Our lips met and it started to get intense. He pinned me against the counter and I wrapped my arms around his neck.
The phone rang, interrupting us. I rolled my eyes and walked over to the living room to pick it up.
"Hello?" I said.
"Skye, honey. We're on our way back home." My mom said.
"W-what? Why?" I asked.
"Your dad didn't make the reservations at the restaurant." She said, sounding pissed off. "We should be there in about 10 minutes."
"Okay. Bye mom." I quickly hung up the phone and ran back to the kitchen.
"Uh, my parents are going to be here in 10 minutes." I said.
His eyes opened wide as the both of us looked around the kitchen.
"Shit." We said at the same time. We then quickly started mopping the floor and cleaning up the counter.
