“So, are you ladies ready to kick this party up a notch?” Kevin asked with a smirk on his face.

“No.” I muttered. I know he heard me, but completely ignored me.

“Yes? Awesome.” He said. “I’ll be right back.” He ran out of the house and came back in a minute later.

In his hands were three bottles of Smirnoff, six shot glasses, and a deck of cards.

“Oooh no.” I said. “There is no way that I’m letting ANY of you get drunk in my house.”

“Relax. No one will be getting drunk…as long as you know how to play the game.” He said.

“What game?” I asked.

“Poker.”

“I can’t play poker.” Amy said.

“Yeah, and I don’t drink.” Lisa said.

“Neither do I.” I said.

Dylan rolled his eyes. “You guys need to loosen up a bit. It’s just us, so drinking shouldn’t be a big deal.” I gave him a glare. “Now come on, we have to teach you guys how to play poker.”

Dylan, Kevin, and Ben tried teaching the three of us how to play poker for the next ten minutes. Let me just say, that was a complete fail. None of us seemed to get it.

“This makes NO sense.” Amy said, slouching. The six of us were sitting around the small table in my living room.

Dylan let out a sigh of frustration. “Fine. What else can we do then?”

All of the guys seemed to be in thought. “How about we play go fish?” Kevin suggested.

I scoffed. “Go fish? What are we, in the second grade?”

“I don’t think you’ve played go fish like this in the second grade.” He started handing out cards. “It’s the usual rules, only this time, if someone tells you to ‘go fish,’ you take a card AND a shot.”

Dylan and Ben smirked. I shook my head. “We’ll all be wasted in a matter of 30 minutes and my parents will walk in and see. So no.”

“Fine, lets make the game more interesting.” Kevin looked at Dylan and Ben. It took them a few seconds to figure out what he was thinking, and I had a feeling it wasn’t something good. “We get the option of taking a shot…or stripping something off.”

“Like any article of clothing?” Amy said.

Kevin nodded. “Yup, anything you’re wearing. Are we good?”

Everyone looked at each other. Well, that seemed fair enough. I mean, how many times would I possibly have to ‘go fish?’

Everyone picked their cards up off the table and we all looked around at each other. Lisa didn’t look too comfortable, and I can’t blame her because I wasn’t so comfortable myself.

Ben started off the game. “Amy, do you have a 6?”

“Go fish.” She said after looking in her hand. He looked to be in thought for a moment, then took off his watch and set it on the table.

It was Lisa’s turn next. “Um, Kevin, do you have a 4?”

“Go fish.” He said, a smirk playing on his lips. Without stopping to think, she took off her necklace and put it in the centre of the table.

It was now Amy’s turn. “Skye, do you have a 2?”

I looked through my cards, and found a 2, so I handed it to her. She looked both relieved and disappointed.
