Chapter 13.

Sophie's pov

The tour had started for a month now, and they were killing it. They were doing the best performances of their life, and I was there to see them. It was so beautiful to see the joy in their eyes when they met fans and headed to the stage. Me, I was there to take pictures, and keep them down to Earth.

We finally arrived to New York, the State I was so excited about. We had three days here, one for the show, another for interviews and one was free. We decieded to go shopping and I bought clothes I always dreamed to have in my closet. We even went on Columbia's campus, exploring.

The boys were invited to a talkshow, one they went before. The host was a beautiful young women who looked really friendly with the boys, but was a real bitch with me. I sat in the dressing room, while they were filming the interview.

As I heard them talking about inspiration, I decided to go backstage and look at them from there. I caught Luke staring at me and he stood up, grabbing his guitar. Just like Ash, Calum and Michael, I stared back at him, confused.

"Actually, there is this girl, that I know since forever. She always have been there for me, and even for the boys. You all know her since she is always with us, and because she is my bestfriend. Sophie, come over here!" He said.

I was frozen into place while the staff from the production told me to go on the set. The crowd cheered for me and I stood up next to Luke.

"Sophie, this is a song that represents the way I truly feel towards you." He added, before starting to play with his guitar.

I easily recongnized the song, since it was one of my favorite.

"Well, let me tell you a story

He fell in love with his best friend

Luke stopped singing Fall from Justin Bieber and the crowd started to applause, joined by the boys who were now smiling. I was really touched by his announcment. But.. what? Luke was in love with me?

"Sophie, I am in love with you since I can even remember!" He laughed nervously as my eyes filled up with tears.

Everybody were waiting for me to kiss him or to tell him that I felt the same, but I couldn't. As my tears rolled down my cheeks, I whispeard into his ear.

"I am so sorry!"

And then, I left the set.
