Chapter 8 - Trouble at Sabertooth

Sting & Lector

"When is (Y/N) getting here?" Sting says annoyingly.

Lector smirks. "You should just tell her you love her already." Lector tries to hold back a chuckle as he makes fun of Sting.

Stings face turns a bright shade of red. "I do not! Shut up!"

"But Sting-kun, you've had a crush on her since she first came to Sabertooth." Lector says.

"All I said was that she was cute, now stop it or someone will hear you!" Sting blushes.

Lector laughs more until they hear Master Jiemma yell. "What do you mean, you couldn't finish the job?"

"Looks like the new member is having a hard time." Lector whispers. Sting nods and stares at all the commotion.

They see the newest member on the ground with Master Jiemma towering over them. "Because of you, our guild looks weak and useless!"

"I'm sorry, I'm so very very sorry!" The newbie begs on their hands and feet.

"Erase it! Erase your guild mark!" Master kicks the poor man across the room, making their back hit the wall.

With that, everyone laughs at the poor man and just continues on with their day. "What happened?" Sting turns and sees (Y/N) there looking confused.

You enter into the guild with Rogue and Frosch. You three see the commotion going on in the guild hall and walk over to ask Sting what happened. "The new member failed a job and got kicked out."

You got scared a little. What if he found out about your job? You start going pale and walk backwards, bumping into Rogue.

"(Y/N), what's wrong?" Rogue grabs your shoulders trying to lightly shake you awake from your daze. "(Y/N)?"

You stop and relax. "I'm fine, I just spaced out a little." You go and sit down next to Sting and Lector.

"You should relax for a second. Here I'll go look for a job for us. You just stay here." Rogue goes to the request board to find a job for you two.

Sting raises an eyebrow. "What was that about?"

You look at him confused. "What do you mean?"

Sting looked pissed. "He's being way to nice to you and you are being pretty friendly with him." He clenched his fist.

"Sting?" You were scared of the way Sting was acting. He's never acted that way towards you before. "Sting, what's wrong?"

He shoots up and marches out of the guild. "Sting-kun!" Lector flies after him, both leaving you sitting there clueless.

"Sting wait!" You got up and chased after him. "Sting?!"

When you finally catch up to mr. quick he turned into an abandoned alley way. "Sting what's wrong with you?" You put your hand on his shoulder to comfort the angered boy, but in return, he grabbed your wrist and pinned you against the wall.

Both your arms were above you while your back was pressed against the wall. "Sting what are you-"

"Are you two together!?" He shouts.

"What?!"

"Rogue!" Your eyes grew wide and your heart instantly skipped a beat at the sound of his name. "Are you together or not!?" He hisses.

Blushing like crazy you kept your eyes to the ground and nodded.

"That bastard..." He growled. His fangs were definitely noticeable with his rage.

"Sting why would you call him-"

Sting smashes his lips onto yours with a strong and angry force. You try to wiggle free, kick him, anything and everything you tried but he was too powerful.

His tongue licks yours and even licks the top of your mouth. It felt good, but at the same time you hated it. He continues this for a while until he trails his lips down to your neck. "Sting stop!" You manage to say.

"I can't." He breaths on your neck and trails kisses. "You taste too good." You struggle more but then all of a sudden, you feel the weight of Sting lifted off of you.

You look up and see that Rogue had slammed Sting into the wall on the other side of the alley. He was holding him up by his collar "What the hell do you think you're doing Sting!?" Rogue yells at Sting with a furious face. "Don't you dare ever touch her like that again!"

Sting pushes Rogue off of him and walks away tsking at Rogue. "Sting!" Rogue yells and was about to chase after him, but right now, you were more important. "(Y/N) are you okay?" He asks.

You nod yes, but rub you wrists unconsciously. "Why was Sting acting like that? I've never seen him like that." Rogue lightly rubs your wrists.

"It's because he's jealous that you're mine." Rogue has a serious face, but you on the other hand, just blush. "He likes you a lot, but won't do anything about it." He looks into your eyes. "Well, now he did something about it."

"I didn't even know that he liked me that way." You felt guilty. You know what it's like to be rejected, it hurts.

"Would you feel the same way for him if you knew sooner?" Rogue asks. His eyes were locked on yours.

You were a bit surprised by his question. "No, I like Sting, but not in that way." You say.

"Good." Rogue brings you into a hug. "I don't want to lose you to him."

You stay there like that until you decide to go after Sting. "I should go see if he's okay."

Rogue grabs your arm before you have a chance to leave. "Are you sure? He might try something again."

You nod and slowly get free from his grasp. "Don't worry, I'll be fine." You smile. You then turn to run after Sting.

"Sting!" You spot him walking to his home. "Sting!" Your voice makes him turn his head, but he ignores it and turns to walk again. "Sting wait!"

Without turning his head he lightly says, "Leave me alone (Y/N). It's obvious you dont want me around. Especially since you have Rogue."

"You're wrong!"

"What?" He turns slightly.

"I may not like you in that way, but you are special to me!" He turns completely around, ready to listen to what you're saying. "You're one of my best friends, maybe even my best, and you look out for me! You help me all the time, ask me on jobs, and get me out of trouble." You clench your fists and start crying. "I can't have you leave my life because if I lost you, Lector, Frosch, or Rogue my life just wouldn't be complete! You guys are the only friends I've ever had."

"(Y/N)" Sting starts but you stop him with a hand.

"If you leave now, then... then... We won't ever be friends again!" You pout like a little baby now. "But if you stay, the I'll forgive you and not punch you for what you did."

Sting just chuckles and pats your head. "Fine, I won't leave you, but I'm not going to stop loving you." His face was very serious now. "I will respect that you and Rogue are together, and I won't try anything again." He sighs. "But I'm not going to stop loving you. And if it doesn't end well with Rogue, then I will chase after you."

"Fine." You hold out your hand for an agreement. 'Let's hope that it never comes to that.'

"Now come on drama queen, everyone's probably waiting. We should go so I can apologize to Rogue." Sting heads towards Sabertooth with you trailing behind.

You were about to b*tch slap the blonde out of his hair. Drama queen? You? You were all but assaulted and here you were being called a drama queen. "Sting... I'm gonna hurt you I swear."
