"To think you two still have motion sickness, even after all that training." You sat on the back bench of the wooden boat and rowed along with the new and improved blonde. "Actually, I expect no less from you two." The two dragon slayers were too busy to snap back at you, seeing how their heads were hanging off the side of the boat... again.
Hana was rowing, but not paying any attention to the two boys. Her gaze was strictly on her home, Bakemono Island. A place where trolls just couldn't stay away from. You could tell she was looking around the island for any ships where they could be transporting her people. No ships, not even little boats were in sight from where you were. The only hope you had now was that they were docked on the other side of the island where very few people roam.
"We'll check in with my people and then head out immediately. We can check their old hide out and if they're smart enough to not be there, we'll scour the area. You two have good noses, so I'm sure we can find a scent or something." Says Hana in her no-nonsense voice.
Your inner thoughts groan and look towards the water. You would be bothered with Hana and her Hana-ness right now, but you were too busy worrying about your little Hikari and Kage.
Kage would cry whenever you or Rogue weren't there and Hikari was a fire ball of trouble ready to explode. You knew that if you clouded your mind with motherly thoughts, you'd never get the mission done. This time, you were determined to succeed so that your children could look at their mother and think of how cool she was. Because you were of course.
Hana wasn't worried about trivial things like that anymore. Now, she was all business and all beauty too. Not ALL of her hair was chopped off, but just enough for you to notice; down to her jaw line and always in perfect waves.
You changed too, but you changed into a mother. You didn't change into a hardcore bad ass like Hana. Even Sting and Rogue were changing into even badder bad asses while you were stuck at home vacuuming.
But Hell, you weren't going to complain. You loved your kids and now you had a chance to show everyone just how much of a bad ass you really are. This was your chance and you weren't going to waste a second of it.
You kept thinking this, even when you docked your small little thing of a boat onto the shores. You were busy tying the boat to a tree with rope while Hana got the boys back to reality. They were pretty out of it when they reached land...
"Alright, let's go. I want to visit some old friends while we're here if that's okay. Just before we start investigating the island again." Hana claps the sand off her hands and started walking towards her home.
You managed to get the boys back to reality yourself and get them on their feet to follow. "As long as we hurry. I want to get this over with so I can go home. I miss my babies already." Your mom-ness was showing in the cutest way Rogue thought possible.
"I miss them too." Rogue's daddy-ness was showing too. That was something you were always going to be okay with. It was just as cute as seeing his sensitive side towards Frosch. Just plain cuteness.
"I never would have thought you two were going to be parents. Honestly, still thinking about it freaks me out." Sting takes a good look at your and laughs his thoughts off. "An old distant emo and his fangirl." He laughs again.
The old distant emo and his fangirl walk on over and feed him a knuckle sandwich before heading down the shore to follow Hana. Another reason why you two work so well. Knocking one Sting down at a time.
"Hana!!" A swarm of girls rush over to Hana as soon as one foot is stepped into that village. "Everyone! Hana's home!!!"
Hana finally wears a smile and rushes on over. Each boob jiggling up and down with each rushed step. Here comes the old memories. Luckily the boys weren't staring like last time. It was actually quite creeping that you were staring intently and the boys were all business.
