"Why do you do these things..?"

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!!" Tai cried, holding Yang's face into his chest as tears fell.

"Dad, please..."

Qrow walked up behind him and pinched Tai's neck, the man falling limp within a few seconds.

"What the Hell did you do to him?" Yang asked, dragging her dad over to an empty chair and throwing him in.

The dark haired man shrugged. "Nerve cluster in the neck. Pinch it right and pretty much anyone'll go down like a rock."

Black nervously chuckled. "You wouldn't do that to me, right? Right..?"

"Nah, I only know it for self defense and for Tai." Qrow said, walking over to the kitchen. "Where do you keep the vodka?"

"I don't."  Blake answered.

The man walked back out of the kitchen and threw himself on the couch. "Waste of a good fridge..."

The raven haired woman leaned over towards Yang. "Is he always like this?"

"I mean..." The blonde thought for a moment. "He's happier around Ruby and me."

"But still... That?" She asked.

"I can hear you, ya know that, right?" Qrow questioned.

Yang nodded. "Yeah he's still like that."

"Maybe I'll just go see Ruby now... Was planning on it later, but you guys are no fun." He muttered, standing up and starting his walk towards the door.

The brawler raised a brow. "You gonna hang out with her alone?"

Qrow turned around. "I'm sure the Ice Queen'll be there, why?"

"I was thinking... Maybe it would be a good time to talk?" Yang suggested.

"No, out of the question." The man said firmly. "I told you, she doesn't need that, her life's been hard enough."

"So she shouldn't even know?"

"No, she shouldn't." Qrow said firmly, ending the conversation.

Blake stood there, having no clue what the Hell was going on as the two argued and bickered and fought. What the flip.

"Umm... Should I go so you guys can talk about... Whatever this is?" She asked, Qrow shaking his head.

"Don't worry about it." The man muttered. "Just an old scab." He added, walking away.

Yang put her hand on her hip. "Where are you off to?"

"I'm getting a drink."

"But cuuuuuuuddles..." Ruby whined.

Weiss rolled her eyes. "I'll be back in thirty seconds."

"I'll count..."

"Please don't."

Both Weiss and Ruby were staying home, just taking time with each other and lazying around. After everything that's happened with the campaign and the White Fang and the bombing, Weiss really just wanted a break.

"I'm back." She said as she sat back down on the couch with a sparkling water.

"Forty three..."

"Excuse me?" The ivory haired woman asked.

Ruby crawled on top of Weiss, cuddling back up to her. "You were gone for forty three seconds..."

The woman rolled her eyes. "Drama queen."

"Excuse me, but you're the queen of this castle." The girl in red laughed. "I'm just your super cool knight."

"Riiiight." Weiss chuckled. "Does that mean you're gonna vote for me?"

"Are you running?"

"No."

"Then there you go." Ruby said. "But I will vote for Jaune. He's really putting his all into this."

"Yeah, that's great..." The woman in white muttered.

The brunette frowned ever so slightly, concern crossing her face. "What's wrong?"

Weiss hesitated a moment before she finally decided to speak. "There have been... Threats coming into the office."

"Well, yeah." Ruby started. "They made it very clear that they don't want Jaune around."

"That's not what I mean... They've been sending me the threats."

The two were silent for a few minutes.

"Like... What kind of threats..?" Ruby asked.

"Telling me to leave the campaign. Trying to get me to screw up Jaune's work. They're threatening to go after me." Weiss explained. "They said they'd go after you..."

Within a few moments, the girl with the red tipped hair was standing next to Weiss, wrapping her arms tightly around the woman.

"Well if they did go after me, I'd beat them up." She said firmly. "Yang taught me a little bit."

"And if you couldn't?"

"I'll stick close to my friends. Stay with Nora and Neo. Roman is a great fighter, so he'd keep me safe." Ruby reasoned.

That brought a smile to Weiss' face. "You promise you'll stay safe?"

"Pinky promise." The brunette said happily, taking Weiss' hand into her own.

"You better keep that promise."

"I can't do that, James." Qrow sighed. "That would mess her up pretty bad."

"The kid has a messed up life, we all do. No sense in sheltering her forever." Ironwood commented. "I think you should talk to her."

"Why now though?" Qrow asked. "Is this your way of saying that I'm about to have a lot more free time? Encouraging me to settle down before you fire me or something?"

"It's not like that." The man from Atlas said firmly. "You're not being fired, I don't even have the power to do that. What I do have the power to do is tell you that you're a dumbass."

The dark haired traveler shook his head. "You said something about a job before."

"Don't change the subject."

"I'll talk to her after you tell me." Qrow bargained.

Ironwood hesitated, thinking through a few options before he finally nodded. "There's a fugitive in Vale that I want you to find. The Atlas military wants you to find him."

"Name?"

James' expression turned serious as he looked to Qrow. "Adam Taurus"
