Neo walked into work will a massive smile on her face, happily skipping along as she got her uniform all ready.

"What's up, Neo? Did Roman buy you guys some more ice cream?" Ruby asked as she was cleaning one of the tables.

Not quite. The mute girl replied in sign language, checking to make sure that everything in the cafe was where it should be. Let's say you're not the only one that can get a girl.

"Oooooo, did someone find themselves a girlfriend?" Ruby questioned with a smirk, quickly making her way over right next to Neo. "Tell me everything."

I don't kiss and tell. Neo told her. But, technically I don't have a girlfriend.

"What!?"

Yet.

"What do you mean? Is that a normal thing, kissing and not dating?" The girl with red tipped hair asked.

Yes, it's actually very normal for people on a first or second date.

"So glad I didn't have to deal with that..."

Neo scoffed. Not all of us can accidentally find our soulmate.

Ruby lightly punched the smaller girl on the shoulder. "Yeah, well at least you know what you like."

It was hilarious watching you running around, yelling about your straightness.

The bell above the front door rang and Weiss Schnee walked into the cafe wearing a white coat with small amounts of fur trimming on it. Over the beginning of the winter, she had become a regular at The Cookies Cafe, always ordering the same thing. A small coffee with milk, a small white chocolate cake with cherry icing, and a small brunette with red tips. Most of the employees refer to it as The Whiterose Special, but Ruby just called it a work date.

"Good morning." The heiress said as she walked to the counter. "I'll have my usual."

Neo rolled her eyes before starting to prep the cake and coffee. She saw Ruby wrap an arm around Weiss' waist and leave a gentle kiss on her cheek, wondering why it takes so much work for her to get anything like that.

Neo passed the coffee and cake to Weiss, who smiled back and handed the usual fee plus a tip. "Thank you very much."

You can thank me by not fucking on the tables. Or maybe by setting me up with someone. The tiny girl replied, prompting Weiss to look to Ruby for translation.

"She said you're welcome." The short haired brunette said, leading Weiss over to on of the booths.

The rest of the morning mostly consisted of serving the usuals, separating Whiterose, and trying to ignore Weiss' phone buzzing ever few minutes.

Neo eventually lost patience and threw a spoon at her. Can you turn that off or something?!

"Ow... I'm sorry, my father keeps messaging me about this stupid meeting he wants me to attend, but he won't say why." Weiss explained. "He should know I go to all the big meetings anyways."

"Probably just knows he can't handle it alone." Ruby said under her breath.

At the end of Neo's shift, Nora and Ren came in to takeover for her and Ruby. The miniature girl walked with Weiss and Ruby for a few blocks until they reach the Schnee Industries tower.

"Take care. See you tomorrow." Ruby called as she waved goodbye.

Neo waved back quickly. Love ya, see you later. Then she kept walking until she made it over to an apartment she has totally never stalked before.

When the door finally opened, Yang stepped out in black sunglasses and a suit, stopping as she saw Neo in front of her.

"Umm... Hey there." She said, obviously a little nervous and shocked. "We should... Probably talk about the other night, shouldn't we?"

Neo nodded her head, smiling up at the tall blonde.

"Yeah, well, we're gonna have to do that another time. I've got a job to do. You know how it is." Yang said, walking out the door and locking it behind her. "Rich people pay me to not let them get shot at."

The long haired brunette frowned, but then smiled up at Yang again. I get it.

"Great. So, umm... Talk to you later?" Yang asked.

Without warning, Neo jumped onto Yang in a tight hug, quickly kissing her cheek before she started walking away. The small girl waved goodbye, swaying her hips as she left.

Going down the stairs and opening the door to leave, Neo felt someone grab her shoulder and turn her around. Yang was standing over her, looking her straight in the eyes.

"If we're doing this, there are some things you need to understand." She said. "I have a date planned for this weekend. I don't want you in my apartment unless I know you're there. And this isn't something public."

What are you talking about? Neo asked.

Yang grabbed the small girl and pulled her into a kiss. Directly on the lips. When she pulled back, the blonde combed a hand through her hair.

"Ok, now we definitely need to have a talk about this..." She muttered. "Come back later. After Torchwick gets back to your place or something."

Neo slowly nodded, trying to take in the kiss still.

Yang changed from her tired expression to something softer, more caring. "I'll see you later."

This time, the blonde was the first to walk off, drawing in Neo's attention as she left.

I am so whipped.
