Blake brushed her hair while prepping for the date. First she's had in... Quite some time. Last one was while she was still in college.

"Don't be nervous." Sun said as he walked into her room. "Yang seems chill, I'm sure it'll be great."

Blake took in a deep breath. "That's exactly what I'm worried about. I know it'll be great, but what'll I do then?"

Sun raised a brow. "Wait... Your worried that you won't be able to give her a date quite as nice?"

"Yes!"

The blond sighed, stepped over, and smacked Blake on the back of the head. "You're an idiot."

"Ow..."

"First of all, you're a fantastic girl that anyone would be lucky to have." He stated. "Second of all, you're rich. Third of all, Yang looks like she'd eat you given the chance."

"I'm not sure what way you mean that, and I don't want to know." The raven haired girl muttered.

A quick knock at the door made every muscle in her body freeze.

Sun rolled his eyes, grabbed each side of Blake's head, and forced her to look in the mirror.

"Look at yourself, woman! You're wearing an outfit more expensive than my apartment, and you look fantastic in it!" He snapped. "Go out there and get that boob monster!"

Blake closed her eyes and nodded, turning and walking towards the front door. As her hand reach for the doorknob, she had to ask herself, was she~

Sun pushed her out of the way and opened the door. "Yang! You look wonderful tonight. Keep good track of Blake, don't let her run off, and don't hesitate to have her stay the night." He said before forcing his best friend right out the door, slamming it behind her.

Blake took a moment to center herself and figure out what the flip just happened. Yang was here, Sun made sure of that. He threw her out the door. She was now holding onto something soft and yellow.

The dark haired girl squeezed her handles slightly, getting a flinch and... A small moan?

"Oh shit!!" Blake hissed, jumping back. "I swear, I did NOT mean to grope you!"

Yang stood there in a yellow skin tight dress, her cheeks flushed and embarrassed. "It's cool..." She awkwardly said, rubbing the back of her neck. Quickly composing herself, a smirk formed its way onto her face. "If you really wanted a feel, you could've just asked."

The woman in black stood shell shocked and attempting to hold back from taking that offer. "U-umm... Dinner?"

Yang smiled. "Dinner."

They both entered the taxi waiting by the road, the blonde holding the door for Blake. Inside, she sat quite close, only a few inches between them.

"So, what do you actually do?" Yang asked, seeming curious about the woman next to her.

Blake blinked in surprise, caught off guard by the sudden question. "I own and run few restaurants. Umm, I guess you'd call them fine dinning establishment or something stupid like that."

Yang nodded, smiling at her. "That's pretty damn cool. You started them yourself?"

"Yeah, right out of college." The raven girl replied, chuckling to herself. "What about you though? What do you do for a living?"

The blonde smirked half to herself. "I get shot at."

"..."

"..."

"what..?"

"I work private security for the rich and powerful." She explained. "I don't actually get shot at. Much."

"Umm... Good to hear?" Blake replied, not sure what to say.

Yang laughed, turning and looking out the window as the cab came to a stop. "Welp, here we are."

The ebony haired girl looked at a small local restaurant that she had never seen before.

"It's a good place. I figured it would be best for a first date. Small, not so expensive, local." The blonde said.

Blake smiled and got out of the car. Just as she was standing up, a quick pain pinched her rear, making her jump.

The girl in black swung around to see Yang smirking at her. "That's for groping me earlier."

The two walked into the building, being brought over to a table in the back by a girl in brown.

"Thanks, Vel." Yang said to the girl.

The girl rolled her eyes. "You know I'm only here until I can afford the ring, but that doesn't mean you can call in favors all the time."

"This is special."

The girl smiled. "Good. That makes me happy to hear."

When they were alone, Yang turned and looked Blake in the eyes.

"You think I'm special?" The girl in the black dress asked.

"I wouldn't be here if I didn't think so." The brawler said. "I'm not.. Not really known for formal dates."

"So why now?" Blake questioned.

Yang smiled softly towards her water glass. "Something tells me I've been doing things all wrong. Or maybe that I'm finally doing something right."

"Yes, you should always listen to advice from water. I find it tells the best kind." The woman replied. "Keeps you refreshed."

"I have other things I could think about drinking right about now." The blonde said flirtatiously.

The feeling of a smooth leg pushing against her caff took Yang by surprise, especially as it reached up her leg.

"Well, maybe you'll have a chance at that soon enough." Blake whispered, her voice like a dark mist. "There are things I'd like to try as well."
