"Ok, so you're serious about not wanting me to flirt with people?"
"Yes Yang, I'm serious." Blake answered, rolling her eyes. "Would you like it if someone was hitting on me and I was flirting back?"
Yang suddenly looked confused, then almost frustrated, like she was struggling with some really hard question.
"I want to say it wouldn't matter..." She finally replied. "But that wouldn't be true. I feel angry at that thought."
The black haired woman laughed. "See, I told yo~"
"You're not allowed to flirt with people either." Yang interrupted, taking Blake's arm gently in her own. "Mine."
"You're unexpectedly protective." The businesswoman laughed, feeling the blondes muscles. "And very strong."
"I work out."
"I can tell."
"Wanna come back to my place?"
"You told Ruby we'd be at Sacrifice." Blake reminded. "Don't disappoint her."
Yang frowned. "Fine."
"Maybe she can teach you how dating works." Blake laughed, continuing to walk down the sidewalk.
The couple made their way through an alley that Yang had assured the woman in black that it was perfectly safe.
Spoiler alert: It wasn't
"Give me your money and jewelry and nobody gets hurt." A husky voice said, a dark figure walking out of the shadows holding a gun. "Nobody has to die."
Blake froze up for a moment, then began reaching for her necklace. "O-ok, just take it easy. We won't put up a~"
"HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
The sound of Yang's laughter interrupted the whole robbery.
"Hey, are you crazy blondy! Give me your cash!" The man growled.
Yang took a moment to compose herself. "Sorry, sorry, this is just a lot here." She weezed. "You think you're scary and it's adorable."
The man pointed the gun right at her. "Shut the fuck up, bitch! I'll shoot you, I wi~"
He was suddenly interrupted by the concrete coming up to meet his face.
Yang stood there holding the pistol, the robber unconscious on the ground and Blake trying to figure out what happened.
"Amateur." The blonde laughed, taking her phone and throwing a text to Cinder for someone to pick up this guy. "Alrighty! Let's get going."
Blake followed as Yang left the alley, still having no idea what just happened.
"Did you flip that guy or did he just fly to the ground at high velocity?" She finally asked.
"I flipped him. One of the first things you learn in my field." The brawler replied, smirking towards Blake. "Disarm and neutralize."
Sacrifice was in sight, Roman out front with a cigar and Neptune standing nearby.
"I'm just saying, the guy isn't cut out for it." The bluenette said as the girls came within earshot.
Roman shook his head. "You think I don't know that? Tired to talk him down, but he's surprisingly dedicated to this."
"What are you dorks talking about?" Yang asked. "Does Jaune want to do another DnD campaign with you guys?"
"Kind of..." Neptune replied. "You should go inside and talk to him about it."
The blonde rolled her eyes, but entered the building anyways, Blake following behind.
It didn't take long to see Jaune, Ruby, Weiss, and Pyrrha standing around the usual table, cheering over something or other.
"I hear you wanna play Dungeons and Dragons again, buddy. Who's DMing?" Yang asked, chuckling as she came over.
Jaune smiled brightly. "That's a good idea, Yang, but no DnD just yet. First, I've got other big news!"
"Oh yeah? What's that?" Blake asked, honestly curious.
Jaune took a deep breath. "I am proud to say that I am in fact running for the office of mayor of the city of Vale."
To say that Yang was in a full giggle fit was no exaggeration.
"Ok, ok, what's the real news." She laughed. "Come on, there's gotta be more."
"That... That was the real news." The man said. "I've transferred my position as CEO to someone else and I've hired your security group to work for me while the campaign is going."
Yang took a second to process and calm down her laughter. "You're not joking, are you?"
"No, I'm being completely serious here. I've already talked to your boss and I've got a group put together to help advertise me." He added.
"Wow..." The blonde replied. "You sure that isn't a dumb choice? I mean, your not gonna be mayor, so why waste the money?"
Jaune pouted. "I can be mayor! I can!"
"We know you can." Pyrrha said, resting a hand against his chest. "We support you."
"Not with that attitude." Ruby said, lightly punching Jaune's shoulder. "We need to toughen you up!"
"It'll take more than a hit to the shoulder." Roman muttered as he walked back over.
The blonde nodded in agreement. "He's not gonna last five minutes."
Then she thought about something and leaned over to Torchwick.
"Speaking of not lasting long, where is Neo?" Yang whispered. "Did she not come with you?"
Roman sighed, looking down a little. "Kid, the way you messed with her heart hurt. Both her, and me. She stayed at home this time, and I would've too if she didn't literally push me out the door."
Yang blinked in surprise, hesitant in thought. "Did she really care that much..?"
"She loved you." Torchwick said, turning away. "But hey, at least she has ice cream and a bajillion seasons of X-Files to get through, right?"
The blonde brawler stood in shock for a moment. She's never actively hurt one of her friends emotionally. She never thought she could.
"Hey."
Yang looked up to see Blake smiling at her.
"What do you want to drink?" She asked over the loud music.
"I'll take a strawb~" Something made the blonde hesitate and stop. "Just a water, thanks."
Blake nodded before making her way through the crowd and towards the bar, leaving Yang with more on her mind than she was ready for.
