"So hey... Why are you here?" Yang asked again. "I mean, why not visit Ruby at home? Making go out for lunch?"
Blake raised a brow. "Umm... Is there an issue with me coming here?"
"No no, no issue, nothing wrong." The blonde stated. "Just... You know, just curious."
Neo's hands were shaking with the coffee cup in them, struggling to keep a straight face as she wanted to get ride of the raven haired girl.
She knocked on the counter to grab her attention, handing the coffee to Blake.
"Thank you." She said, reaching for the cup and being cut off by Yang, who started to drink the whole thing.
The blonde set down the empty cup, gasping for air. "Sorry, I guess I'm really really thirsty."
"Umm..." Blake hesitated. "Yeah, I guess so."
Neo signed something, her hands still shaking, but her translator was enamored with a certain girl in white, so nobody actually knew what she was saying.
"Hey, let's go to lunch. Not here. Somewhere else." Yang suddenly said, pulling Blake out of the cafe. "Yeah, anywhere else sounds wonderful. I eat here too often."
Yang rushed down the street, dragging her shocked victim along for the ride until she had to stop due to car traffic.
"Yang." Blake started. "What the hell?"
"I'm so so sorry. I'll explain over lunch, my treat." The blonde replied.
The woman shook her head. "I'm not Sun, you can't buy me with free stuff. I want an explanation."
"Over lunch."
Blake shook her head, but followed anyways, not taking her hand out off Yang's.
The two found themselves in a pub and restaurant and after ordering something quickly, Blake turned to get answers.
"Ok?" She said. "You can explain now."
Yang took a breath. "Well... You should stay away from Neo."
"Who..?"
"The short girl with the weird eyes." The blonde explained.
"And why exactly should I do that?" Blake questioned.
"Umm..." Yang thought for a minute. "She's really into me, and so she doesn't like you, and she gets jealous easily, and she's a tad crazy."
The raven haired woman blinked. "So you dragged me out trying to protect me?"
"Yes, exactly."
Blake chuckled slightly, shaking her head. "Well at least you care, that's something."
"Of course I care..." The blonde said, looking down slightly. "You're the only person I've ever actually wanted to date..."
Blake stood in silent shock again, surprised at that reaction from such a strong willed and fierce woman. "Well... You want to make it official?"
Yang blinked, looked up in surprise, blinked again, looked all around her, then looked back to Blake.
"What.?"
"Do you wanna start dating officially? Like, girlfriends?" The woman asked. "You know how dating works, right?"
"Umm..." The blonde was silent for a moment. "Let's pretend that I don't know for now."
Blake forced herself to hold in her laughter, struggling at how little the tough and experienced blonde knew about this topic. She was about to explain a little, but hesitated.
"You don't look so good." She told Yang.
"You should never say that to a lady." Yang said, wobbling slightly in her chair. "But in this case, I feel worse than I look."
"Where'd Yang go?"
Neo looked up from her magazine as Ruby walked over, shrugging her shoulders. Saw her walk off with a hooker. One of those high heel, black dress types.
"That does sound like her... She'd never pay for sex..." Ruby muttered.
"And it's moments like this that make me thankful that I don't know sign language." Weiss commented, checking her phone casually.
Probably makes our conversations seem much more interesting than they actually are. Neo added. Curiosity can do that sometimes.
"Well, I'll get her to learn it eventually." Ruby said. "I'd like you two to talk more and get to know each other."
Neo gestured to her throat. About the first part of that, I won't be~
"I'm well aware." The brunette said, gently holding her hands over Neo's. "That you will not be doing a lot of talking."
"That joke got old after chapter three." Nora called from the back room.
"I don't get it..." Weiss mumbled.
Ruby shook her head. "Don't worry, babe. Nora's just weird and Neo has very little creativity."
The ivory haired girl nodded. "That makes sense."
Neo rolled her eyes and took her hands back. I should get going. Yang'll be passing out within the next half hour.
Ruby blinked. "Did I read that wrong?"
The small girl started walking off and Ruby just kept watching.
"I read that wrong, right?" She called after Neo, who completely ignored her as she went down the street.
The heterochromatic girl wandered in the direction Yang ran off, calmly walking until she pulled out her phone and just pressed on her Find My Girlfriend app, the blonde's phone being pinged almost instantly.
Within a few minutes, Neo saw Yang being pushed into an ambulance from a group of outdoor tables, the girl in black getting in behind her after the paramedics.
Somehow, Neo ended up making them spend more time together. And that is the exact opposite of what she was trying to do.
Emo, bitch. She thought to herself as she started walking towards the nearest hospital. Trying to take my Yang. This means war.
