"To reach the widest audience within Vale, you'll want to start advertising in the market place. With a mass population and high daytime activity, it should be a simple matter to draw interest." Weiss explained as she sat next to Jaune, the two of them looking at a collection of diagrams.

"I could do that, but Winchester has deep ties with the big businesses in that area, as well as support from the local gang there." Jaune commented. "It would be smarter to focus in the residential areas. Go for a family approach, stick to the streets and go door to door."

The ivory haired women thought for a moment. "If you go by West 22nd street and campaign in that district, then you could take a rapid expansion through all the way to the financial district."

"I have no idea what either of you are talking about." Yang remarked, leaning against the wall in her suit and wearing her aviator glasses. "I'm not sure why you need a bodyguard for this either. Seems pretty safe, locked away in a random office building."

A knock came at the door and one of the campaign assistants walked in. "Miss Schnee, someone's here to see you."

Jaune smiled back to Yang. "You can go with Weiss to see what's up, I'll stay here and work on all this fun paperwork and planning."

Weiss looked nervous, but nodded and followed the assistant anyways. The blonde kept close behind, knowing the procedures for being a professional bodyguard.

The assistant lead them to the lobby area of the campaign center, a large man leaning against a support while waiting for them. Carden Winchester.

"Mr Winchester." Weiss greeted. "I'm surprised you came all the way here to see me."

The man laughed, smirking half to himself. "Well, I'm running against you more than Arc, so I thought I'd come for a quick chat."

The ivory haired woman narrowed her eyes. "What exactly did you want to discuss?"

Carden shook his head. "No need to be so formal. I wanted to offer you a job with me. You make higher quality work, you should have higher quality pay."

"I'll be refusing." Weiss said calmly. "If I wanted high pay without standing my ground, I'd still be working under my father."

Carden nodded. "I heard about that. The man's a coward, and understands little to nothing about people or their emotions. My contacts told me why you left, and it's really terrible to hear how he treated your girlfriend."

The businesswoman looked down in a half glare. "At least some people can appreciate how much she means to me..."

"You know, you'd both get benefits from working with me. Family healthcare plans, payed vacation time, financial and legal assistance."

Weiss looked up, almost as if she was considered what he said. "I... I'd have to think about it."

"No worried, I'm in no rush. The position would be more long term than just the campaign, so you'd keep it while I'm in office." Winchester explained, handing Weiss a business card. "Call me when you wanna talk about it."

The man put a hand into his pocket, waving goodbye with the other as he walked away and out of the building.

"You can't be thinking about that, right?" Yang asked. "He's the enemy, he just wants an advantage."

"Shut up, Yang." The woman said quietly. "I'll keep his card, but no, I already have a job. I'm not taking his offer."

"Good." The blonde said firmly.

Weiss turned and walked back to the office Jaune was working in, leaving Yang with a feeling of unease.

"She better not do anything stupid..."

"Velvet knows what she's doing." Ruby replied, sitting next to Nora on her couch. "They've been together forever, I'm not surprised that she's finally popped the question."

Nora shook her head. "I'm more worried about the actual ceremony. Those two's clashing personalities forming into one event? That'll be something to see."

Ruby thought for a moment. "I mean, Weiss and I are pretty different, but it worked out alright." She said, gesturing to her apartment.

The ginger starred at her with a deadpan expression. "That's because your place was practically empty when Weiss moved her stuff in. It looks like a rich person took over your cheap ass apartment."

"Well... You're not entirely wrong about that..." Ruby agreed awkwardly. "But it still looks nice."

The glass decorations and minimalistic art that Weiss had did complement Ruby's completely barren walls and add a little extra to the home.

"Meh. Still too rich for you." Nora commented.

The brunette released a breath. "Yeah, her decorations are nice, but they are a little much for me..."

"Back to the topic." The ginger snapped. "Velvet and Coco."

"It'll be wonderful I'm sure." Ruby said. "Coco is great at design, and both of them have a bunch of similar interests."

"Whatever, I'm still expecting a fire."

"What's on fire?" Weiss asked as she walked into the apartment. "Please don't tell me something's burned..."

"Not this time, Weissy." Ruby smiled.

Nora chuckled to herself. "We're just talking about an invitation the Rubes got in the mail."

"Oh yeah, what's going on?" The crystal eyed woman asked.

The brunette with red tips looked like she was almost ready to explode from excitement. "VELVET AND COCO ARE GETTING MARRIED!!"
