Demi smiled at me, but I could see a hint of fear in her expression as she said, "Okay. Tell me something that you have done or said that hurt me & I will tell you if you've made up for it, yet."

This was my way out. This was the perfect opportunity to tell her what I did, since the guilt still consumed me, once in a while. I opened my mouth, slightly, to tell her the worst thing I have ever done to hurt her, but then I realized where we were, so I closed it. There was no way I could take this beautiful, romantic time we had spent together on this island & turn it into a nightmare.

"You know what? No. I'm not going to dwell on the past. I don't want us to rehash anything. Let's keep it all in the past. We need to keep moving forward, anyway. And from now on, it's all positive. We can & will get through anything."

Demi seemed to let out a soft sigh of relief. "Yes, we will." Demi leaned to kiss me. "Your sessions seem to really be helping you."

"They are."

"Have you given any more thought about us going to see Dr. West, together?"

I pushed my lips against each other. "I think us going to our own sessions is enough, for now. A lot of the things that cause us some issues in our relationship, stems from individual stuff. I don't know that we need a session together, since we're not dealing with something specific that is threatening our marriage. It's our individual mental health that needs Dr. West. We don't have money problems, we haven't been fighting. Even when we do fight, it's usually because of our own insecurities. Once we deal with our own demons it will help us as a couple."

"You're right. I guess we can just go separately, for now. I mean we don't have the marital issues that we had before, when we went to sessions together. Those sessions were to help us through the Rafe mess & now those issues of infidelity are behind us."

I had to swallow & look down as I cleared my throat. "Yes, they are."

Demi moved closer to me, her lips landing on my forehead. "Our last night in paradise." She whispered as she sat up & I lifted my gaze to look at her. I could feel the guilt, start to diminish just by the way she looked at me. She loved me, more than I deserved, but I still didn't want to lose it. I had to forget what I did & show her how much I loved her. I had to show her the love she deserved, even if I had to pretend to be a husband who was worthy of her adoration.

"You have never looked more beautiful than you do, right now, in this light." I said in a hushed tone, over the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore. "Your skin is glowing... your eyes are shining...your lips are beckoning to me."

Demi nodded, slipping off her silk robe to show me that she wasn't wearing a single item of clothing under it. "Yessss, they are." She lifted her leg, putting it on the other side of the chair, so she was straddling me. I wasn't sure which lips she was referring to, since I had a full view of both. I was only wearing my boxers, so I lifted my lower half & shoved them down to expose my erec.tion. I gripped Demi's hips as she wrapped her arms around my shoulders. Once her lips met mine, the passion seemed to ignite & I couldn't wait to be inside her. I slipped my co.ck into her crevice, then began kissing her neck as her head fell back in ecstasy. Her moaning only made me want to thrust deeper into her, which is exactly what I did. I pushed up into her as I pulled her hips toward me. I repeated the motion several times, slowing down once I felt her contracting around me, letting me know she was close. She moaned, loudly, in my ear, in between sensual panting, which gave me goosebumps. It wasn't long before we were both screaming out in euphoria, our bodies trembling from the carnal bliss.

I held on to Demi, while she clung to me, as we came down from our frenzy. I didn't want to let go of her. I didn't want to leave this place. I didn't want to think about going back home, where there was a chance she could find out about what I did.
