"Ughhhhhh! I'm burning up, I don't think I can even sweat anymore!"
Luffy was not enjoying himself. His tongue hung out of his mouth as he used a stick as a cane to pull himself along through the dunes. Sweat coated his brow in a thick sheen as his back hunched forward.
"Will you please spare us the melodramatics and shut up, your only going to wear yourself out" Nami snapped as she fanned herself with her hand. Ashe squinted at the black haired teen as she passed him.
"Was he like this as a kid?" She hummed to Ace as he walked beside her. They had been sticking close together through the journey and she had quickly become used to his shoulder constantly brushing hers.
"Pretty much the same" The freckled man chuckled as he grinned at her.
"Ughhhh!" Luffy groaned loudly.
"I can't go on" Chopper whined. The poor thing had to be pulled on a small wooden sled by Zoro "I can't take hot weather, I'm fine in cold weather"
"It's because of all that fur, why don't you take of that stupid reindeer costume" Usopp moaned as he dragged his feet. A tick mark appeared on choppers head as he shot up and turned large.
"What did you just say to me big nose!" He yelled as he waved his arms around angrily "don't make fun of reindeer!" Usopp screamed and threw his arms in the air.
"MONSTER!"
"Chopper, don't turn yourself big or I'm gonna quit pulling you!" Zoro snapped.
"Who are you calling a monster you long nosed freak!"
"You better take it easy on the nose or I'll have to get tough!"
Zoro jumped at Chopper and hit him on the head "Turn small, will ya!"
"Hey, the desert doesn't seem to bother you two" Sanji said as he glanced at Vivi and Ashe.
"Well I was born and raised in this country so I guess you could say I'm used to it, what about you Ashe?"
"The wether on my Island is quite like this so I guess I'm used to it as well"
"So what's with all these hills?!" Usopp panted "I was expecting a desert to be more flat!"
"Ughhhh!"
"This is a very old desert, some of the sand dunes are over 900 feet high"
"Over 900 feet?! Oh my god no, that's a mountain" the sniper whined as his tongue hung out of his mouth.
"So hot...water" Luffy moaned
"Just one drink, Luffy, just one mouthful" Nami warned.
Luffys cheeks suddenly swelled adorably as he drank. Nami and Usopp slammed their fists on the back of his head angrily as they glared at him.
"Don't drink so much!" Nami screeched
"Idiot, you better save some of that for me!"
"Hold on, you just had some, I'm next!" Sanji joined and seconds later they began to fight.
"Stop it you guys ,you're going to wear yourself out if you keep that up!" Vivi said while Ashe sighed and dropped her head down against Aces shoulder. Why did I decide to walk with them again?
The burning day slowly passed to a chilling night with a sky that was such an inky black. White stars dotted the sky like splatters of paint, constellations and clusters of stars spread across the inky canvas, while the crew had stopped at a large rock formation. A small fire was set up in the center of the circle of tents as Sanji began to cook.
