"TSUNAMI! A TSUNAMI IS COMING!"
Ashe let out a sigh. She was standing beside Sanji, her hands on her hips, staring at Luffy. His eyes were dark swirls and he lurched around as he yelled.
"Does this crew not get ONE moment of peace!?" She hissed and wiped her face tiredly.
"What is it now?!" The chef grumbled
"Maybe it wasn't such a good idea" Usopp mumbled nervously as he stared at his screaming captain. The boy was still yelling madly as his body jerked.
"What wasn't a good idea?" Chopper asked
"I warned him but he didn't listen, he said he was so thirsty he couldn't stand it anymore so he chomped down on some of that cactus to suck out the moisture" the long nosed teen explained.
"Cactus?" Zoro said confused
"Yep, right there, those round things"
Usopp pointed off into the distance where a small group of round, green cacti lay half eaten. Chopper let out a cry of panic as he sat up.
"You got to be kidding! Those are mescal cacti, they're used to make hallucinogenic drugs!" He screamed. Ashe bristled at the mention of the cactus and blushed brightly. She had a wild experience with them when she was younger and preferred not to remember the night she had. Truth be told, she could barely remember it at all. She knew there was a lion, some fire, and a group of dancers. Everything after that was a haze.
"WHAT!"
"LOOK OUT, WE'RE GONNA DROWN!" Luffy yelled at them before suddenly turning angry "BRING IT ON IF YOU GOT THE GUTS, I'LL TAKE YOU ALL ON!"
He picked up the board sled that Chopper had been lying on and began to swing it around wildly. He then slammed it against the ground and began to pound his fist on his chest like a gorilla while he screamed.
"Oh crap!" Zoro groaned as Chopper hid behind him. Ashe reached towards her knife as the boy pulled back his fist.
"GUM GUM-!"
Luffy fell forward onto his stomach as a snot bubble grew from his nose. Chopper stood beside him holding a large needle.
"Knockout!" The reindeer smirked.
"Wait a go, Chopper" Sanji praised.
The group of six continued on their journey through the desert, their captain being dragged behind them. Ashes fingers were wrapped around his ankle loosely as she walked behinde Sanji closely.
"They must be miles away by now!" Usopp sighed
"And their footprints are disappearing" Ashe added as she chrouched down to get a better look at the ground. This was really bad. She fanned herself with one hand and brought the other up to unbutton some of her shirt. The heat was beginning to get to her.
"Come to think of it, I haven't seen Ace for a while either" Zoro said
"Oh great! When did he disappear?!"Usopp ground.
"I bet he got separated from us" a familiar voice added. The boys froze and Ashe dropped luffys ancle to take a few steps backwards away from the oncoming beating "sorry, my big brother kind of a flake".
The teen was instantly stomped to the ground by the trio as Ashe stared at the sand dunes out of boredom. Her ears perked at an odd sound drifting through the air that the others noticed as well. It sounded like something sliding across sand. The others joined her at the top of the dune just as a large figure slid out from behinds a sand mound. The ship had a massive umbrella at the front while all its colors were faded from years in the sun.
