I looked at Patton as he laid in bed and I couldn't help but shake. I did that to him. I... Emile said that since he was the clairvoyant... he said they wanted to make sure Patton could never get his sight back. He said Patton knew that going into this. He had me believe that I could just take the curse away from him when I'm stronger but... I can't.

I took the cloth away from his eyes and I felt myself break more. His eyes were bloody and black and still bleeding. I walked away to get him a new cloth. How the hell am I supposed to explain this to Logan? That's if I even get the chance. I've come to term with the fact that Virgil is going to kill me. I blinded his fucking best friend.

Patton tricked you, he said. Fuck that. All he did was beg me to save his 'son'. That was all. I made the decision to do it. I told him we could find someone else.  Said If I could just get stronger...

Virgil was breaking. He was losing his fight against his insanity. We didn't have much time left. And that fatherly figure used my love for Virgil against me. Damn it, Roman. I took a deep breath and brought the new wet cloth out only to freeze. Logan was sitting beside Patton holding his hand and crying.

"What happened?" I could hear his voice crack and I looked away. "What happened, Roman?!"

"We... I passed the curse to him." Logan's eyes went wide and I cringed at the red tear stained expression. "It didn't just curse him. It... It took his eyes."

"You son of a bitch." He had me against the wall in no time flat. I didn't even flinch. I deserved it. "You just HAD to save your boyfriend. TO HELL WITH MINE RIGHT?!"

"That's not..." He punched me before I even had the chance to finish that sentence. He let go and I fell to the floor holding my eye.

"Logan..." We both froze and looked over at the bed. Logan ran over there grabbing the cloth I had placed on the bed and placed it over Patton's eyes. "Don't be mad at him."

"Don't ask that of me. How can I not be mad, Pat? He hurt you." Patton reached out hesitantly and Logan took his hand softly. "I'm sorry."

"For what?" Logan got up and laid down beside Patton in bed and I looked away towards the door. I should go.

"You came to me for support, and I pushed you aside. Again." I started for the door and felt everything in me give out. What the hell did I do?

"You didn't want me to get hurt."

"You still did. You didn't listen." I paused with my hand on the door nob and looked back hesitantly.

"If your son was hurting, sick, and in so much pain, and you had the chance to make it all better, even at the cost of your eyes... Wouldn't you take it?" I smiled sadly and looked down. That was the exact same line he used on me. "Logan?"

"I don't know. I don't have a son. What I do know, Patton. Is that I have you." Logan leaned in a little further, resting his head on Patton's chest and just crying. I opened the door and felt the cool air rush in. I walked out and made my way to Virgil's room.

He was still sleeping and I smiled. I had moved him back in here after that whole thing with Patton. I sat down beside Virgil and grabbed his hand. His leg was healing faster than ever and I could see the smile on his face. I looked over at the mirror and groaned. Logan hit me good. I was already bruising around my eye. I looked like a mess.

"It's not that bad." I jumped up and looked around frowning.

"How?" Remi just smiled and crossed his arms.

"I knocked you out. Typical for me. Where ever you were last you should be asleep now. hopefully it not a bad place, I didn't think to check." He cringed slightly at the thought and I shook my head.

"I was with Virgil."

"Good. We need to talk." Remi called as I just groaned and laid back. Avery popped her head into my line on sight and I frowned.

"About what?" She held her hand out and I took it allowing her to pull me up.

"You've gotten stronger. You got rid off Deceit's curse. Maybe even someday you can take care of Lydia's." Avery said with a smile on her face. Remi just burst out laughing and I wanted to hide.

"I doubt he's just going to pass off another curse to Patton."

"I SHOULDN'T HAVE EVEN GIVEN HIM THAT ONE!" I yelled throwing my hands out. Avery's eyes darkened and she sighed.

"Actually, Roman. Out of everyone... Patton was the best choice." I just stood there in shock. How could you say that? Look what it did to him. I can't... "He's the only one with the power to get past it. The clairvoyant was never supposed to have their sight. He may actually be the only one to fully awaken his powers because of it."

"I don't care about that whole, giving your eyes for someone crap. I HURT PATTON! Virgil is never going to forgive me." Her eyes went wide and I looked away.

"Don't tell him." I shot Remi a dirty look and he put his hand up in surrender.

"Are you stupid? I have to. If I didn't... he would just hate me more." I hugged myself and fell back to my knees. Virgil is going to kill me when he finds out. I can't... I just...

"V-Vir..." I felt the tears finally fall and the others just looked away. There was this loud sound and I jumped up to find myself back in Virgil's room. Except... He wasn't in bed. I fixed my hair to hide my eye and frowned. I looked around and found him standing there near the door. I couldn't help but smile. His eyes weren't white anymore. They were back to being brown.

"Virgil? Is everything ok?" He smiled and nodded as I got up and pulled him into a hug. He looked up at me with this big smile on his face. I watched as he reached out towards me and I shot him a look of confusion."What..." My eyes went wide as I found his lips on mine. I could feel his body get hotter as if his magic was reacting to this kiss and I just melted. I pulled away no doubt blushing like a mad man and I couldn't even think straight. Ever... I'm not straight. "What was that for?"

"I missed you." I smiled again and lead him over to the bed. His eyes narrowed and I saw him reach out towards me. I tensed up and tried to push his hand away but froze under his worried expression. He brushed my hair away and his eyes went wide. "Roman, what happened to your eye?"

"I... I had a bit of a fight... with Logan." He looked back towards the door and frowned. I followed his gaze confused a littled but sighed. "I had it coming. It was well deserved."

"Don't say that. I'm sure it wasn't that bad." I cringed. Your right... It was worse. I'm surprised he didn't kill me. "What did you do?"

"You know let's not..." He shot me a dirty look and I flinched. "Patton came to me for some help. I didn't refuse... and... Logan wasn't happy."

"I don't understand." He started to cry and my heart broke. I reached out and brushed them away. I am so sorry. I didn't know what would happen to him... I thought... I thought I could just take it away when I was strong enough to nullify it. I'm sorry.

"You don't have to." I glanced at his leg and smiled brightly. "You're all healed up." Maybe... Maybe I could give him one last happy memory with me before he hates me forever. I pulled him up and dragged him to the door. "So how about that date, huh?"
