Ero jumped off the cliff edge and I latched on to his neck, screaming out for dear life. He spiraled as he fell and I prayed for this to be over. As the ground got closer, I got louder until suddenly we were in the air high above the clouds. He just shook himself out, and I just looked like a cat attached to the ceiling in fear.

"Why... what?!" I glanced down and began to panic. It was a very long drop. Very long... very high... and I'm on the back of a fucking dragon. I felt my body go cold and Ero looked back at me with concern.

"WATCH WERE YOUR GOING!" I called back and he just shook himself again as if saying deal with it. I closed my eyes and held on tightly as he maneuvered his way around. Did I mention I had a thing about hights? It's not my favorite thing at all... In fact, it's my least favorite. I hate it so much.

Ero dipped below the cloud to reveal that we were flying over a lake. He brought one of his wings down till he was touching the water sending a ripple through the reflection of the setting sun. It was breathtaking. I looked at Ero and gasped as the beautiful colors of the sunset reflected off his scales making him a dark rainbow.  He looked back at me and I saw he puffed out a bit of smoke. Like, stop staring at me... Jesus, the more I hang out with him the more it's like I can tell what he's thinking.

I watched as he stopped and hovered in the air, using the air from his wings to create waves in the lake. He opened his mouth and soon fire erupted mixing with the water, steam, and colors to create this stunning sight. It was absolutely beautiful.

The sun began to dip lower and I could feel the stress in Ero as he began to fly me back home. Back to the castle... I looked down at him with concern but he just shook himself, puffing out some smoke and dipping low to stop before actually reaching it. He glanced back at me and I swear he smiled. He nudged his head towards the castle and I laughed as I got off of him.

"You want me to talk to him, huh?" He shook himself again rising up onto two feet before coming back down and laying his head by my feet. "Ok, ok... I get the idea." Ero seemed to flinch and I started to get worried. But before I could say anything, he flew off back towards the mountain. I looked up and watched the last bit of sun disappear just as Ero was out of sight.

"Logan!" I was slamming on his door, yelling out and pissing off the guard. It wasn't that late there was no reason to be in bed. I knew he could hear me. Even asleep, I was practically breaking his door down. "Logan open this fucking door right now!" I stepped back as I heard the lock and watched the door open a smidge.

"Rom...an... What are you d-doing?" My eyes went wide and I pushed the door open causing Logan to fall back into his dresser as I made my way inside. I crossed my arms and glared at him. "W-What was... t-that for?!"

"Your stuttering." He looked away and I saw how red his cheeks where. "Logan, have you been crying?"

"N-No." My arms dropped and I ran a hand through my hair. "Go away R-Roman. I-I already... t-told you..."

"Shut up, Logan!" I snapped and he stopped looking away. "I'm starting to think maybe Patton was right." His eyes went wide and fell back into the door, slamming it shut. "You really just can't let someone in. Not even me and I'm your own brother!"

"P-Pat...t-ton?" I rolled my eyes and sat on his bed. "W-Wh..ere... W-when... w-when-n?"

"Your stuttering is getting worse. I can't understand you when you get like this." He slid down the wall, eyes wide in shock. "Logan?"

"Sir?" There was another knock on the door and Logan jumped up to collect himself before the door opened. "Sir..." He spotted me and frowned. I just raised an eyebrow at him and he shook his head. "Sorry to disturb you but there's someone at the gate. He says he knows you... Well, you both."

"Send him away. It's getting late and..."

"I tried but he insisted he said he absolutely needed to speak with your brother, he wouldn't take no for an answer, sir."  I sighed and smirked, shaking my head at the timing. I'm pretty sure I know who it is too. He wasn't exactly in a good place when I left him anyway. I'm surprised he didn't show up earlier.

"Let him in..."

"But Roman..." I glared at Logan, shutting him up and looked back at the guard.

"I was expecting him. Please... let him in." The guard nodded, leaving me and my brother alone.

"You were expecting someone?"

"Nope..." He looked at me dumbfounded and I laughed. "But am pretty sure I know who it is." I started to leave and I stopped looking back at Logan. "Please play nice. Patton is practically family."

"ROMAN I AM SO SORRY!" I was instantly engulfed in a hug and I had to laugh. It wasn't that long ago he was being bitchy. "I shouldn't have been acting that way, especially since you came looking for support and all I gave you was... not nice-ness..." He pouted in confusion and I choked back a laugh.

"Not nice-ness... Is that a thing now Pat?"

"Hey, don't pick on me. I'm trying to apologize here." He crossed his arms like a child does when about to have a tantrum and I sighed.

"So what happened?" He looked away and awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck.

"Virgil kicked me out."

"What why?!" He gave me this look that said seriously and I shook my head.

"He just needs some time to cool. He's just a bit upset with me. I can understand. There's just one problem..."

"And what would that be, Patton?"

"I don't have anywhere else to go..."
