To say I have never worked a day in my life is a slight understatement.
I may not have worked for money, but I worked real hard for my career.
To do something you love is one of the many keys to a happy and long fulfillment in our life.
To get paid, that's just a bonus.

Life is expensive and thats understandable. Life is meant to be enjoyed as well. Even the smallest and simplest things.

Watching the sunrise on top of a mountain. Hearing your childs first words. Running through a field of flowers. The touch of your loved one as they kiss you.

It's... amazing and it's something I wish I never took for granted. I wish I could do more. But I know now my place in this world.

Do you know how many events have occurred all through history just for this moment?

Amazing, isn't it?

April 2018
I like Fridays. We finish early on Friday's. Only because Bernice has to leave early on Friday's. So we get to leave early on Friday's.

I had my bag slung over my shoulder, still in my leotards and a tiny skirt, some leg warmers and I replaced my slippers for flats.

I was talking with Elizabeth, who was put on light duties due to her ankle and Giselle.

"Hey, Kimmy. Well done!" Someone shouted out to me.

I gave them a confusing look. "Uh, thanks." I called back.

"What was that about?" Elizabeth asked me and I shrugged.

"No idea. Oh, maybe because Giselle and I have a part in the upcoming production, Beauty and the Beast." I sung out to her, quite proud of myself.

"I heard. Congrats, girls!" Elizabeth stated, but she didn't sound too happy about it.

"Way to go, Kimmy!" I heard from down the hall.

"Congratulations!" Someone else shouted.

"Now I'm getting confused." I muttered. Everyone already congratulated me earlier today, being new and securing a place on the ballet production. I turned to see Giselle missing as she stared at the notice board.

Groaning, because I was sore and I wanted a bath, I trudged my feet back to her. "We've already seen this yesterday." I told her, laughing. "It's not a dream, you made it."

Giselle turned to me with wide eyes. "They have casted." She told me.

"Oh, really? What spot did you get?" I smiled at her.

"A villager."

I cooed at her, looking at the lists. I started to frown, not finding my name. I don't know where it is. "Where am I?"

"Kimmy. This list." Lizzy stated, a couple feet away from me. "How the hell did you get so high up so quickly? You only started in January!" Elizabeth huffed out, crossing her arms and showing us she was completely displeased by the decision. "I reckon I could have landed this part if I didn't hurt my ankle!"
