Iris' POV:
We don't have school today and my Mom decided to take the day off. I'm glad she's home because I really need to talk to her, but for now we're just enjoying each other's company.

Iris: Mom take a selfie with me.

Cecile: Come on.

OMG! We took the cutest Mother daughter selfie ever.

Cecile: Are you okay sweetie? You seem a bit anxious.

I'm really nervous about talking to my Mom, but I know I have to. Before I could say anything to her Wally and my Dad joins us in the family room.

Joe: How are my girls?

Cecile: Great.

Wally: What's for dinner?

Iris: Dude you just finished eating and you're already worried about dinner.

Wally: Can't a guy plan ahead?

*Knock on door*

Cecile: I got it.

My Mom leaves to get the door. When she opens it she's not to pleased with whom she sees. That's evident by the tone of her voice.

Cecile: (angry) YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!

Dad Wally and I rush to the door to see what's going on. When we get to the door my Dad looks just as angry as my Mom. There's a woman there that neither Wally or myself recognize, but my parents cleary do.

Vanessa A. Williams as: Francine.

Joe: (angry) WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!

Iris: (confused) Mom, Dad who is this?

Francine: (annoyed) Mom? They call you Mom?

Cecile: (angry) YES BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT CHILDREN CALL THEIR MOM'S!

The lady looks at Wally and I with a huge smile on her face.

Francine: Hi I'm Francine. I'm your real Mother.

When she says the latter half of that statement she looks over at my Mom (Cecile) with a devilish look in her eyes. My Dad invites her in and we all gather in the family room.

Wally: (annoyed) Who are you?

Francine: I'm your Mother Wallace.

Joe: (annoyed) Why are you here Francine?

Francine: To see my children.

Cecile: (loud) THEY'RE MY CHILDREN!

Francine: (sarcastic) Really? Because I remember giving birth to them.

Iris: (attitude) Lady you may have given birth to us, but you are NOT our Mother!

Wally: (attitude) Yea Cecile's our Mother.

She reaches for my hand and I yank it away from her.

Iris: (angry) DON'T TOUCH ME!

Joe: (yelling) FRANCINE YOU'VE BEEN OUT OF THEIR LIVES FOR ALMOST SIXTEEN YEARS. WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT YOU COULD JUST WALK IN HERE AND PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF?!

Francine: I'm not trying to pick up where I left off. I'm trying to start brand new. They're getting older and they need their Mother.

Cecile: (angry) THEY HAVE THEIR MOTHER!

Francine: (angry) YOU'RE NOT THEIR MOTHER CECILE!

Iris: (yells) NO YOU'RE NOT OUR MOTHER FRANCINE!

Wally: Why don't you just leave us alone?

Francine: Because I want to be apart of your lives.

Iris: (yells) WELL YOU SHOULD'VE THOUGHT ABOUT THAT SIXTEEN YEARS AGO WHEN YOU WALKED OUT OF OUR LIVES!

I get up grab my phone, purse, and keys and storm out the house. I get in my car and drive over to Barry's house.

A/N: * Until next time my dear Peaches... *
